Everything happens for a reason....
Something to make your heads explode... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ignatius_of_Loyola

St. Ignace, the town mentioned by --Aidoneus, was named after Ignatius of Loyola. So far it's a boring history lesson...BUT: When was the date he was beatified??? Exactly: July 27, 1609....Looks like we have a 400-year- anniversary to celebrate on July 27 Wink

(I know, such coincidences could be found nearly everywhere but without new clues and any idea looking for paralels is fun, too)

BTW just for reffy: the one tiny Thing Posted HERE on Page 9 that, I believe, isn't mentioned in the fab WISH? comments is a photoshop of the original Aidoneus image which reveals a constellation. Relevant Dunno

Seriously though, is there much left that we can (re)analyse to look for solutions?

Hard to say, because some of the stuff we don't know if they are actual puzzles/clues, or just overanalyzation.

From what I recall, here are the things that are still somewhat unresolved:

1. The entire twentyseven.co.cc site - do we have enough info to proceed, and just haven't found it yet? Maybe there are other hidden links? Maybe the names of the images are significant, and there are other hidden images?

2. The oddness in the Aidoneus signature. There was some good chatter about this that got sidetracked when the new blog came out. Is there actually something hidden in his sig line, or is it just a goof?

3. I have this sinking feeling we possibly missed something on the8thspoke page, but who knows. We had a "wasting.htm" page that we were working on, and then we got down the wrong path and it disappeared, and was replaced with waste.htm instead - did both places lead to the same eventual place? Why did all of that happen?

4. The possible constellation seen in the image from Aidoneus.

Just my thoughts at the moment - I'm sure I missed something else, too.

Hello dishboy....Totally agree (for example the "--Aidoneus"-thing)...What "constellation" are you (and amandel) talkin' about? Couldn't find anything about that...

BTW have you tried to use the "rules" of the waste-page on the wasting-page?

I actually went back to look at the 'wasting' pages again yesterday to see if we'd missed anything.

Four of the seven pages corresponded to the four book club books with the titles anagramed in the grey letters on each page.

Achilles = ETANGLE = ELEGENT
Hector = MHANU = HUMAN
Tydeus = END
Agamemnon= NGMEON = GENOME

They also have dotted and red letters in each passage so I used the same rule as 'waste' and got

AN ITS CE ESR = RESISTANCE

Which leads us to the same place that the 'waste' page did.

The other pages (Neptune, Juno, Ulysess) contain seemingly random grey letters (OVTLN) and no dotted letters so not sure if we were supposed to do anything with them??

So I think 'waste' was just a simpler version of the 'wasting' page - maybe because we were stuck!

Thought it was worth checking though - I don't like loose ends either!!

Thanks for clarifying PB, though I'm still a bit confused. The resistance page is just a placeholder that sends you back to wasting.htm, and suggests that we "got ahead of ourselves". I don't see how we would have gotten from wasting.htm to buttheirweaponsdid.htm, which was the ultimate solution...

Also - I'm not able to access wasting.htm at all, I just get a 404... are you still able to? Is this more web hosting screwiness at play?

This one should be http://twentyseven.co.cc/dalet.htm (with a 't').

Check this link to go to page 9 of our current thread: http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=27856&start=120

Look towards the bottom and you'll see where amandael uploaded an image she had manipulated, and you can see what look like stars in the backround of the image.

Not exactly. Smile The "waste" page leads to "disintegrate" one. And the "wasting" one leaded to "resistance". I'm pretty sure though that the "resistance" page would have the same content as the "desintegrate" page, if we hadn't discovered it too early, before actually solving the "wasting" puzzle.

I think that you guys overthink a bit here. First off the white dots on AIDONEUS pic can be seen clearly without photoshopping. And another thing - those white dots form such a mess that pretty any constellation can be found there. Smile We can find clues and hints that aren't even there if we really want to.

No I can't access it either - just worked from screen shots I saved on the blog.

I'm not entirely sure how we would have moved forward from that either -but I've just double checked and we didn't get 'resistane' from the waste page - this was the URL that someone stumbled across accidently. The only thing I can think is that the PM must have changed the game and the URLS accordingly when we 'cheated' and that originally the resistance page would have had the next clue...

(Just seen you've posted the same thing Sens!!)

Byblos is the Greek word for Papyrus from which we derive the words book, bible, bibliography etc. At the time I just took at as another clue that we should be looking at the books...
