So does this mean that we have to figure out the numbers at the bottom of the finalis page too?

I would think that's our next task.

Are these simple letter numbers? 20-8-5 would be T-H-E . . .

The numbers are 2085-15920209-611491224.

If you break up the first numbers to 20 8 5, and take the corresponding numbers, it spells the word 'THE'. I'm working on the rest and trying to make it work. But I cannot find anything that makes sense.

Wow FANTASTIC work guys!!

I would NEVER have got that - since my laptop keyboard is laid out completely differently with no side numerical keypad!!! Well done to DarrellEW - I thought we'd be stuck on that one for ages!

There's a Francisco Nitti on staff at Chenchey, so The Nitti Family?

EDIT: thenittifamily.com was registered in 2005

I think there is significance in the "misspelling."
Code:

20 8 5 - 15 9 20 20 9 - 6 1 14 9 12 24
T  H E - O  I T  T  I   F A N  I L  X

20 8 5 - 14 9 20 20 9 - 6 1 13 9 12 25
T  H E - N  I T  T  I   F A M  I L  Y

The incorrect letters being O, N, and X. Then replaced with N, M, and Y.

the letters O N X N M Y do not yield any anagram.

But, if we add the two letters I S to the sequence, derived from finalis.htm, then we have:

O N X N M Y I S

which yield the following anagrams:

Minx Nosy
Mix Sonny
Inn My Sox
Inns My Ox
Nix My Nos
Nix My Son

I think "Minx" is a rodent; and "mys" means "mouse" in Greek...

Just another time I don't know if it means something, but: the last piece of paper at http://www.chencheyinstituteofresearch.com/finalis.html

aid of the seemingly natural electromagnetic waves and the amplification simulator we can ... into the energy provided by the Mirrors. --> I left out the word which I cannot read exactly, is it "tab" or "tav"?

Okay just told Sara Heisenberg about our progress and asked her if her father ever mentioned anything about the Chenchey Institute and Francisco Nitti...Perhaps there's a connection, 'cause it was her father's page (and our friend R33pich33p) that lead us there...

I have no idea what to do next so I tried to summarize the story behind I.Theta so far (correct me if anything's wrong):

Nathaniel Graves works for Widmore Labs at the I. Theta Project.

Somewhen around June 22 2006, Nathaniel suggested different building locations for a facility connected to some "Resonance" from St. Ignace.

After a while, Nathan got a letter from Niel Heisenberg, another scientist at Widmore Labs, telling that they decided Location G of Nathan's suggestions would fit for the I.Theta Project.

This location is situated at the Azores.

After overhearing something about I.Theta at a competitor's meeting around May 4 2009, Niel disappeared.

A hacker on Niels website calling himself R33pich33p mentions the Chenchey Institute of Research.

One of the Research fields of Chenchey is electrmagnetism.

On their website they state that a new facility has just opened in the Azores on May 27 2009.

The website was also hacked by R33pich33p, who shows the dangers of the I. Theta Project, proofing it with pieces of letters.

One of the letter pieces is saying: "crush Widmore's hopes of going forward with their I.Theta project".

--> It seems that Widmore Labs and the Chenchey Institute were competitors on the Azore's location. Niel states in his Blog entry of April 16 2009 that he meets a competitor to settle a 3-year-dispute (started in 2006 when Nathan's suggestion was choosen). So what did Niel hear at the competitor's meeting in May 2009 that made him a threat? Could it be that some Chenchey representatives were there, too and talked about already building a facility there?
