This started as a possible part of hallucinine, but I just had a conversation with Mich that makes me start a new trailhead.

I was there when the city burned, I helped to put out the fires, as did many others.
The others in the beds - they were not there for the same reason. They had other complications. Some recovered and went home to their families.

 		Mich seems very talkative. All this reminds me of the Albatross Soup riddle, and other "lateral thinking" puzzles.

talking to him for a while now asked him about recovering and posted he did not after he came to the conclusion and posted on fb he did not survive

So.... if you don't want to read about 100 comments on facebook...

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Mich lived in the Bay Area during the 1906 Earthquake and Fire

His family (wife, 2 daughters, and 1 son (Jack)) lived in Oakland

Some time after the Great fire, Mich was being driven home by Mr. Simons, his friend who drives a Pioneer Tea company truck. Mr. Simons was driving Mich home from the bank, who had just refused Mich a loan. Mich grabbed Mr. Simons' gun and shot himself. He was trying to build a house for someone else / not his family. It was a contract.

Mich later died from his injuries in the Presidio hospital.

He died somewhere between 1924 (when the truck was made) and 1929 (he doesn't remember the great depression).

Mich needs to know when, why, and where to move on. He updates his FB profile as he learns about himself.

 		mr simons pioneer tea truck was a model t from 1924 but the pioneer tea company was in detroit http://auto.howstuffworks.com/1920-1929-ford-trucks2.htm

What encryption was the Bible verse under? I tried ROT to no avail, which means I'm short a cipher... or at least ten.
