Shocked

Hi MJ!!! I think we're still in the gathering phase. All still intriguing and unclear. The last e-mail suggested we "let things settle". The PM is helping us to get the background history, but it is all symbolic and indirect at present.

for example I recently wrote to the PM to ask:

Quote:
]I've just been reading the website where you got the stuff about the Maidan and the Island.

http://www.touregypt.net/vdc/maidan.htm

I wonder if the story is a metaphor for what happened to the spiders...

The pride of their Captain led to a wreck on our rocky world...Perhaps related to miscalculating the gravitational pull of the Earth, too close to change course...it all happened too fast. Perhaps they were traveling blind for some reason (failure of a subsystem...) (the Maidan's end happened at night...)

- Trinn

He wrote back saying:

Quote:
It is indeed a metaphor for a crash. You will know more details about a crash soon.
Thanks a lot for playin and coming up wth this stuff

Yay finally my Internet is working again, glad that I didn't miss a lot.
Indeed S.O.T.W. homepage has changed a little, reading about SS Maidan atm.

Also there were more links added to the character's pics, each one leads to a youtube video and each youtube video shows only one letter.
All letters together give the word:

No sound in the vids whatsoever

EDIT: @Double Dutch: Remember the names were all given to players...i don't think he would write out of their perspectives, would he?

EDIT 2: Anyone else got this mail?

Sorry for double post, but all that editing...

Wikipedia entry on Nephilim:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nephilim

In the german Wikipedia entry, there is an interesting part about people opineing, that the Nephilim are ancient, highly civilized beings that may have crashed (Nephilim coming from the hebrew word naphal, wich translates to "fallen") or landed on earth, and mixed with the humans.

This paragraph also names a few people, that represented this theory, namely:

- Zecharia Sitchin
- Jan van Helsing
- David Icke
- Michel Tsarion

EDIT:
Wikipedia on "Ancient Astronauts" also covering up the Nephilim issue.

EDIT 2:
I emailed the PM:
"May the Nephilim have brought the spiders as blind passengers when they crashed on our planet?"

Answer:
"Very very close the key word with Nephilim is giant GIANT
A sort of warrior working for the spiders.Thank you very much for your input."

EDIT 3:
On my question if not all of us will be getting names the PM answered the following:

No I am sorry about that.It just got hard to keep up with and al ot of people were not using them.If you want a name for the game I would be more than happy to add it.Just suggest one and perhaps give me a charcter pic.Anyone can get a name so if someone else you know wants one and want their pic on the site let them know.Thank you very much for this email

The minute i seen that word I was sold , i was already looking at the posts for this now though im just gonna watch and advise, gonna try and sign up and get named just to be official , Look up things that have to do with the Nephiliem for now, i suggest

Anyway from what i know off hand about the subject is spotty i do know if you want some info theres a book i remember called
Genisis 6 Giants , cant remember the author , but it deals with the possiblity that before th great flood the children of the Nepheliem roamed the earth freely.

well ok i dont want to say to much and throw us off track here, ill be back soon hopefully named as well though my first attempt got that
this blog is no longer here response,, sigh.

Hi Auz: on the 21st of May we received that group email (here on page 6) from our PM inc. this sentence:
Quote:
Just call me ZEEK for now

The Spider image is of a Haplopelma which is a "tarantula" sort (genus) that doesn't habitate The Red Sea region.

Poor resolution on the pic, but it looks like the helicopter is an Apache Longbow (AH-64 D). I'm not sure but I think the website is: WWW.GUNCOPTER.COM, but I couldn't find the specific pic...It is identifiable from the "radome" at the top which houses fire control as well as target acquisition hardware.

Any military or ex-military, please correct me, but I think they're used extensively in desert war.

As for the UFO, I'm unfamiliar with this model Wink

Edit: Human behaviour is interesting, have you all noticed how the video "I" has been watched more than any of the others? (LOL - we're a funny bunch!) Wink

It's the Green Airways eco-friendly model, reducing the Yeti-sized carbon footprint my guy is leaving behind. Laughing

I agree its an Apache longbow, though its not specific to desert warfare. Its just a kick ar** powerful helicopter!

Probably has no relevance but I hear Apache and think of Native American Indians, Hint to a nomadic culture?

(could also be krawl, kraol, kraul, qrawl, etc Wink )

Edit: I think he wants us all to send the pic in...(perhaps as a way of checking numbers?)

Anyway, I couldn't find out how to zoom in with mapquest Dunce , so I sent in a close up of the coords from GoogleEarth Wink
