 		The article says its very common on Earth, also found in meteorites, the moon, or mars.

Although it appears the gem-like version of Olivine, which I'm assuming the Chrysolite refers to, is mostly found in volcanic areas.

Yep, read again after I posted..this is pretty odd so far. Spiders, and chrysolite to mold aluminum into something.

 		Just throwing this out there. Chrysolite is mentioned throughout the Bible (different interpretations of coarse). Primarily looking at:
Ezekiel's lamentation: Ezekiel 28:13
Aaron's Breastplate: Exodus 39:8-14 (NIV)
The Walls of New Jerusalem: Revelation 21:18 - 20

Tenuous I know, but continuing the bible theme, it could be related to Daniel 7:4 (Daniels' visions of four beasts)-
