Apparently Pastor Ned Ludd and his congregation at D.I.C.S. Church fear that God will smite mankind for its sinful robosexual perversions. Plus, they hate dogs. If you're of the same mind, they've got signs you can use to go picket.

Oh my . . . that's fantastic. How did you find it?

If anyone didn't already know, Ned Ludd is the name of a quasi-mythical English folk hero who, after destroying two stocking frames in a fit of proletarian rage, became the inspitation for the early 19th century Luddite movement, which campaigned agains the mechanisation and deskilling of trades.

I realised I hadn't just done a Google trawl yet; I discovered that there's a Facebook page for the blog I don't think anyone's mentioned, and also that Tim is a Media Studies MA.

Had a nice chat with Tim and O11iver on the phone last night (they thought H(e)x's accent was cute!), but got too nervous to ask burning questions! But I worked them in via an e-mail, and got a couple of interesting bits of information:

The first time I saw that godhatesrobots site was when rowan mentioned it via twitter, yesterday or the day before, I don't remember right now. I think she said she saw it in the related tab in youtube while seeing one of 011iver videos.
