Nice work Lysithea!

This leads to a clever joke and a brilliant-

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
farewell video, of lugnut, set to a robo-voiced cover of 'every rose has it thorn' =)

Now looking into whether the joke has any further bearing.

Yep, that's what I was looking into... I played the audio backwards, but didn't make out anything sensible. It does sound AWESOME though. I'll play around with it a bit more, but we might be at the end of this particular road.

So... now that we have all this info, as characters in this reality, what do we DO with it? Who to tell?

EDIT: Go enjoy The Gospel of Pastor Ludd #2

Wow, everything happened last night . . . I'm sorry I was out partying and missed it!

Where next is the question. I'm guessing Pastor Ludd and co. are going to be implicated in this pretty soon, but I think that, having just got through a big maze of puzzles, we'll probably be sitting pretty for a bit.

I'm going to send an e-mail to O11iver warning him about the current developments, though. He could be in danger!

These vids get funnier the farther along this goes. It's slowly gaining my interest.

I need to go check my "Faceplaces" and "MyPlaces" Laughing

that video has a couple of sections with some really odd on/off flashes:
0:35-0:38 and 0:45-0:49. I'm horrible at extracting things like morse code from video, though..

Pastor Ludd just responded to the Human Date video, and an e-mail "missive" he received. He's not happy about it. From the video description- "A date that may be forgotten by most, will be a date that a line was drawn in the digital sand."

you beat me to it, i was just going to say that... I must say, this is one of the most hysterical games i've played in a while!

ETA - for someone who is so anti robots and tech, he sure is liking the tech world. {maybe he's secretly robosexual}

So he wants photos of anti-robot protests? Does than mean we have to pick sides??? I would hate to have a protest and offend 011iver... maybe i can TELL 011iver that i'm trying to bring them down from the inside, as a secret agent, mwa ha ha

The glitch showing a screenshot/desktop image appears at 2:18, for anyone who's wondering.

Love to see how enthusiastically we all jumped on that Smile

So Ned had a robot friend, and gets choked up talking about it... interesting. Even more so- what he finds funny Laughing

Missed all the fun. Mad
I played around with the log and here is a list of what I found (and hasn't been mentioned as far as I can see):

PostLarval wrote:

The fact that Lugnut's RFF profile changed today to 'Lugnut Mark 2', with a photo that just says 'ADMIN' rather than a picture of his new body, suggests something bad happened. And will happen.

Code:
<052709> /login= {lugnut}
<052709> /pageupload= {users/admin/error/lugnutERROR.html}
<052709> /logoff= {lugnut}
<052709> /login= {coldoil}
<052709> /userdisable= {lugnut}
<052709> /userban= {lugnut}
<052709> /userdelte= {lugnut}
<052709> /newuser= {lugnutmark2}
<052709> /logoff= {coldoil}

Damn!
Just one minute later...Coldoil was keeping tabs on Lugnut.

I'd like to point out that http://www.mbilf.biz/users/admin/metrics/paris.htm isn't passworded. That's just the admin login popping up, if you didn't save the password for that one. In fact, that link will lead you to one of the error pages which can't load the files properly. They are blank, because the background can't be loaded, since the files are not in the local directory. I am now pretty sure that this is intentional. It helps to distinguish these pages from the other variety.
Which is pages that have either been deleted or not uploaded any content to them yet. Those have the red background. Which is why I think we should keep checking this one: http://www.mbilf.biz/paris
Lugnut said, "we will always have /paris". Lugnut supposedly was planning to use this as a drop. Or a backdoor once Coldoil locks down everything. I guess Paris does not refer to the city, but the prominent figure in the Trojan War. May be a long shot, but my mind jumps right to Trojan Horse.

The only other placeholder page similar to this right now is http://www.mbilf.biz/webcam.html .
And we know what happened there:
Code:

<050536> /login= {lugnut}
<050536> /pagedelete= {webcam.html}
<050536> /pageupload= {ramsavage.html}
<050536> /logoff= {lugnut}
<050509> /runtime= {system check}

I am guessing, Coldoil or LM2 will put this back up soon.

Perhaps significant for later:
7:59 PM is cache reset. 9 PM is system check.

After a new user registers Lugnut would do this:
Code:

/login= {lugnut}
/sendmail= {newusererror}
/logoff= {lugnut}

However, after Lugnut has been replaced with LugnutMark2, this happens:
Code:

/login= {lugnutmark2}
/sendmail= {newuserlogindisabled}
/logoff= {lugnutmark2}

First, I wonder why it was an "error". Second, now, I also wonder which login is disabled?
What kind of eMail did you get when you signed up when Lugnut was still around? And what kind of eMail do you get if you sign up right now? I think that's why Rowan has registered with her other nick?
Code:
<052809> /newuser= {Nawor Ellebmal}

In order to test the response?
