YIKES! Coffee Are we thinkong that Dr. Pacun has disappeared in the same manner as Mel and the others? Only possible difference is that he saw/felt it coming?.....

And who commissioned Federal Agent Greyson to investigate as I'd wager it wasn't Asgard International Group?
OT--The Mirror, as always, you crack me up and I'm choosing "all the above" in your previous page POLL--OUT

I've never noticed those. I wonder if there is something there. I wouldn't be very good at that sort of thing either, I'm afraid, if so.

Morse code would be dots and dashes. It would be very difficult to make out letters much less words from them if randomly placed in a video. I took the marks only as an indication that this was originally on film. Thought it was cool that the PM took the extra step to authenticate the atmosphere that one would expect from older archived material.

This was mentioned before, but ... I think the typos have a hidden message. Especially in the video (003?) where the writer apologizes for all the typos....

this is not completely accurate, i think, but i got
/towlplipisidepywmreaaeroon8/

the /'s at each end make me more suspicious, as well as the fact that some of the typos involve letters that weren't close to the right letter on the keyboard, for example. . he/she hit y, w, and m before getting to the right letter t in "this". those letters are all over the place on the board. this is just one example.

Or... maybe they just really suck at typing... :/

I dono, I know a little about video editing and to put all those marks in there would take alot of effort... But there may be some program that randomly puts that crap in to make it old....

If you have a Windows computer, go to Video Effects in the Collections drop-down list of Movie Maker where you'll see that you can add film aging effects.

disza, while I thought the typing errors were to reflect the need to message in haste with cold fingers, I give you props for trying to make something out of the typos. Have you tried making an anagram out of it?

i tried, but i'm not sure how accurate my catches are. also, i wasn't sure if punctuation typos counted, and i suspect the string needs to be broken up, but i'm not sure where. if this means anything, think it might be a directory or a url.

I had thought the same thing about the typos! And the slashes really made me think it'd be a URL as well. Here's the deal, though, and I don't mean this as a negation of the idea, just food for thought. The wrong letters are often (not always) right next to the right letters on the keyboard. For example, the backslash gets put in accidentally when he was going for a period. They're right next to each other. Same thing with R for E, P for O, etc. I'm not saying that doesn't mean it's a clue, but it MIGHT mean that our PM has big hands! Smile
Also, there have been bunches of typos in many areas of the game (That's not a criticism of the game, btw), and some of these have vanished when they've been pointed out on the forum. That leads me to believe that the forum is being monitored (hi pms!), and when they see that a typo is leading us in the wrong direction, they've removed it quickly.
With all that said, the game seems really well planned and awesome. The number of typos is a little bit surprising in a game of this caliber, especially when the characters are supposed to be doctors and agents and the like. Perhaps they ARE a clue.

Hey all, I'm sorry I missed everything last night. Weird work hours SUCK!!! Laughing

So, I've rewatched part 3 and didn't see anything unusual except the "black hole" at the end of the video. Anyone have any idea what we should be looking for??? Also, if someone does contact Grayson today, can they try and figure out what agency he works for? Very Happy

EDIT: Sorry, I just realized I was watching the WRONG video, and all the above conversation is what we're working on!!! Embarassed
I have a feeling the typos are a pretty good start so, I'm going to copy them down.

Just got a general tweet from CryoftheWolf:

"Sydney is famous for this, so go see the third"

Sydney and Wagner made me think of the opera house.
I tried "opera, operahouse, and Opera House". no go.

EDIT:
Got it.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
It's the third in Wagner's Ring Cycle: Siegfried

Great job Mirror! Very Happy

I have that HORRIBLE feeling I get when I hear about animal cruelty stories!

I don't recognize any references to Norse Mythology to lead to another clue, I'll keep looking.

Very nice find. Smile

Though I'm kind of at a loss of what leads we're supposed to pull from that video. I'll watch it more, also.

Edit: Maybe the picture of the wolf changed? Since the writer mentioned staring at the Wolf's eyes. DbyD, do you still have the original png from the other day to compare it to what's there now? Though that'd be suggesting that those files are still being fooled around with, whereas before we've just been retrieving old stuff from the dead project.

Typos from the latest video:

Iihrmn;anhjbhf=ubiottltthereihisprojectssjaowopreiogooy,

There are some words in there, but they were typed that way in the video, as if someone typed a word and then changed their mind, erased it, and replaced it with a different word. It's SO MANY typos, but I'm still not sure it's code. I ran the thing through ROT, nothing. Anybody see anything?
