Re: email from Abie with code string

Amandel, you are great!
It's youtube:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OdG92xXob7I
And TEDO is for Tesmna Etermul Dhrem Ol

(I'm at work now, so I cannot listen to the file. Please can somebody describe it?)

About TIDO from Youtube Profile:

Quote:
About Me: We have been around since the dawn of time. Our forefathers have bequeathed use their history, their struggle, their hopes and their vision.
We seek the Book that was taken away from us. We will not stand by and let tragedy unfold. We will correct it. We will bring it to be right.

Dialogue of video

Quote:
the dice have been cast, there is no turning back, We will obtain what for centuries we now lack, the name of the book, you will learn soon, and it will fill the earth, with many bones"

Might be wrong about that last bit.

I'll drop it into protools, see what else I can make of it.

Also, according to their profile page, they're located in the isle of man.

Seems to be nothing hidden in the audio, at least as far as spectrography is concerned
Thanks Tresbien, I think you're dead on with that interpretation, and if you're not, it's probably close enough.

I'm still not sure about "Bones" though.

TY for the transcript and the first *garble* sounds like "locked in" imo.

Upon informing Abie I noticed an unexpected email from her on a separate subject. Truly believe this general msg was sent to bolster our good spirits and remind that the Book Name is key atm.

Abie Thetime wrote:
I know the name of the Book, but to help you would be to deny you the learning that would bring you power to use the Book!
Alas, in this I don't know if I can help. You need guidance, but how to provide it? I have never done this before...that was always Tylean's job. I will try to see what I can find out

ETA: Unfortunately it's a no go on analyzing this video with Youtube ARGtools which many of us here use.

think there might be some clue in the Isle of Man? that's where TEDO seems to be based. I looked into it, but couldn't figure anything out... but I'm also exhausted.

Sent this to Tylean last:
What is this magnum opus of which you write?
I've hunted for it day into this night
Now I feel most weary
But still wish to see clearly.

Here's the reply I received this morning:
Quote:
You will. Time is what is needed.

ETA: Hazred, I think the garbled part is: we will obtain what for centuries we [do now lack?]

Is the title of youtube video significant?

eeuo

Are these random vowels? Or do we have to find consonants inbetween?

Dunno My lil brain can only handle looking at all the poems for the p/w. An email after informing Abie and giving props to Kos.

Abie Thetime wrote:

My story, is well, incomplete. I thought that Tylean did no know, but I was wrong.
He knows I have committed the ultimate crime in our Order. I sense that he has forgiven me,
because of the many messages he has sent about me. His latest post is also encouraging to me,
(although you cannot know why until you have proven worthy of the Name). It has given me
counsel and advice. But alas, I cannot speak to Tylean directly. To do so would mean an end
for his relationship with the Book. He cannot do this without an heir. The post also scares me.
I don't know what he is planning. And the scattering is coming...

I will now meditate on his words and device a way to guide you to the Name without risking the Book.
You may not hear from me for a while.

Abie the Time

[SPEC]

Thought I'd post some of our thoughts about the poem since we all seem to be stuck on it, and it's where we need to put our focus now.

I believe the "big name" is Ala al-Din Abu al-Hassan Ali ibn Abi-Hazm al-Qurashi al-Dimashqi aka Ina Ibn al-Nafiss, the first person to describe the circulatory system. The camo file name win may be short for what's in a name, spoken by Juliet in Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet as others have noted already.

Next, "...but at least it will set you free" made everyone think of John quoting Jesus, "If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free." But this doesn't connect with the non-philosophizing rhymer. The camo file name is ina (does this refer to Ina al-Nafiss?). Shakespeare did write one long poem, Venus and Adonis, and there are many sonnets so that could be the reference to length (thinking about Shakespeare due to the other two stanzas).

Finally, the last stanza seems to be about the Philosopher's Stone. The earliest name attached to it seems to be Jabir ibn Hayyan aka Gerber or Jabir, but most of us are more familiar with Nicolas Flamel. The camo file name is eld, and I found a printer, George Eld, who printed the first edition of Shakespeare's Sonnets. But I think the consensus of opinion is that eld is short for elder.

So it's a lot of Shakespeare and a very long name. Hope this will help us put the pieces together. Since hearing the TEDO video, I wonder if we need more information to know the name of the Book.

Probably nothing but since I'm desperately seeking clues, I noticed two typos in Abie's email to you amandel: 1. I thought that Tylean did no(t) know, and 2. device (devise) a way to guide you.

Well that, and the fact that every single play he wrote was a massive poem written in iambic pentameter Wink

Laughing I didn't forget about the plays but was thinking about the "eld" connection to publishing the sonnets.

I've been thinking about the file name for the rose being quick and Tylean's emphasis on time and saying to choose well, which takes us back to the quicktime midi file and the note inside that said, "I hope you can finish the score before we go to our next battle." I wonder if we need to write more of the lyrics for it?

I was considering that poem 2 might also be francis Scott key. He wrote the star spangled banner, which rhymes, and a "key" could certainly set you free.

Email from Tylean

In response to my email asking for clarity, Tylean wrote:

I wish that you could have the centuries to learn that you deserve, but alas we were not blessed with such time. This is what I can tell you until your knowledge grows:

The Name of the Book is short. In the Language of the Book it has six letters. Find it quickly, there are others who would have it.
