Although I did receive my email my rhyme Dunce has been "awaiting moderation" for over 6 hrs so it may take awhile to post.

Hey Rad, that stuff you found in the Wordpress source code... I'm not too educated on web coding and such, but doesn't that just seem like the kind of garbage code that a point and click page designer sort of generates?

I have absolutly no idea Very Happy but you're probably right, it's most likely nothing.

I don't know what time zone the Rabbit is in, but I'd bet we get the next message before his clock strikes midnight, though perhaps just before.

Lesson is supposed to continue later on this day but for some tomorrow right?

Seems to imply real late, like when a bunch of us will be sleeping. I'll be up, I'm mighty eager for the next step.

Hmmm, This edit is unrelated to the content above, but I didn't want to double post, so here's this.

Look very closely at the bottom of the word press page, there's a very very faint smiley face. So I highlighted the smiley face a revealed the source code of the selection, here it is:
Quote:
<img id="wpstats" src="http://stats.wordpress.com/g.gif?host=tylean.wordpress.com&amp;rand=0.1847034889436101&amp;blog=8116955&amp;v=wpcom&amp;user_id=0&amp;post=1&amp;subd=tylean&amp;ref=http%3A//www.google.com/ig/gmailmax%3Fmid%3D5" alt="">

I know absolutely nothing about this kind of stuff, but I figure if there's anything to that, someone here will know what to do with it.

As far as I know, this smiley face is existing on every wordpress webpage in some way... I know it because we often asked us in ARGs looking to IG wordpress blogs bout this face, till one day it was revealed as a design part or something like this.

thanks Kos, good to know. What can I say? I'm new to this.

So, I'm waiting here in anticipation to continue this, and I'm wondering "Did he give us any leads we can follow at all" And the answer is, no not really.

But he did mention that we'd have to learn his language, and if this does have to do with druids and the such, that might be Ogham. Might be a good idea to read up on that if you get the chance. Big lark here though, other than than suspecting druid stuff, I've got no reason to go into Ogham.

Good point, Hazred.

Even if we haven't found significant cultural hints, the whole story looks really Celtic.

(And I've used to learn Ogham for years, nice occasion to refresh it Smile)

Sorry for doubleposting.

Rabbit answered:

The first one is easy, you already know how.
All you need to do is to remember now.

tylean.wordpress.com

To remember what? I fear I forgot, what I should remember Laughing
No updates on his blog though...

Found it!
http://tylean.wordpress.com/18/
I'd better always look the navigation.

UPDATE It isn't Ogham though...

I hope it's OK to hotlink the picture from the protected post...
UPDATE2.
Since we haven't here a key,
Substitution should be a way...
UPDATE3.
(Not the solution though...)
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The first word in the third line is part of the second word in the first line. It should be perhaps a stem of 5 letters (and 3 letters were prefix in the second word/first line). The words of 2 letter should be a keys...

For better substitution I did a code transliteration:

Quote:
ab cdeefghi je ab kdlm gn ab efghi gn obdpmk dki bdqr

Check it out, I think, I haven't did a mistake. For the letters I used plain alphabetization. I.e. first letter = a, second letter = b etc. Of course, these letters aren't letters, but just substitution entities for better numbering.

I've to go now... Perhaps the most frequently 2letters word "ab" is "he" or "we" or "be".

Based off of what amandel figured out, and assuming their interesting use of language Very Happy -

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
ME PASSWORD IS ME NA** OF ME SWORD OF HEAV*N AND EA**

I really want to assume it means "My password is my name of my sword of heaven and earth", with some funky old timey spelling of 'earth', 'name', and 'heaven'.

Also, does it look to anyone else that the pink text is a different letter system entirely? They seem to not have much in common.

Sweet Yams, icerimp! One symbol for "th" (earth) was totally common in OE yet "name" it can't be unless Tylean makes typos on my scale. Rolling Eyes
**Do you think I'm a biatche if I say plse unspoiler it so maybe someone can have a final Eureka meme re na*e?**

Well, I was assuming some rather unique spelling being done, to reconcile the fact that letters wouldn't normally work. Laughing
I was trying to decide between assuming it was 'My' or 'Me', since both cause their own set of problems with the rest of the cipher.

And I don't know, should I unspoiler it?

Totally your call, ice. And the pink prolly unravels to "Holy cow...they'll Nevah crack this." Twisted Evil Flash and face/palm if Tylean forgot one stroke on the "th" symbol :

"The password is the name of the sword of heaven and earth." Yes?

icerimp, I'd unspoil it at this point as amandel (great work!) and you made great progress. By the way, in case anyone didn't notice or tried to work off it as I did, the blog image isn't the message in its entirety so use the one kosmopol posted or this one: http://tylean.files.wordpress.com/2009/06/script-recognition-test.jpg

Have had a brief conversation with Rabbit Black
Quote:
Rabbit: You are almost there my good apprentice.
me: thank you but amandel did most of it
Rabbit: I know, I have rewarded her already
me: very good as she deserves it--we are lucky to have an anthopologist among our group
anthropologist
(I got very mixed up working off the blog image!)
Rabbit: My apologies, I am new to technology
you will learn more of this when you learn to read and write.
me: not a problem Smile
I'm eager to learn
Rabbit: You must wait until you learn more
A little history is a dangerous thing
me: That's true and at times I go into chess moves mode which may not be helpful.
Sent at 11:41 AM on Sunday
Rabbit: Knight's move thinking is uncommon but may be helpful
me: I think I'll heed your warning about a little history and be a good student.
Rabbit: Now search within you, there you'll find a little answer
more will come when you find this

He has invited others to join the "real-time lesson" and wonders why they have not accepted. It seems the time has passed for now but will come again at another time.

And the last message was:
Quote:
Rabbit: Farewell for now my young apprentice. I will keep the watch this night; I will await the destiny to unfold. I will guard the knowledge that I must soon share with all of you.

ETA:
Quote:
Rabbit: of course. Congratulate Amandel on my behalf. Yet there is a little more hidden in this picture. For now forget the text in red. Yes that has the answer, but I doubt that any of you could find it. That script is too advanced for you.
me: I will happily do so.
Rabbit: I will return again to see if you have made progress
me: Thank you for your ongoing support. Be well
