hey guys,
i have a theory and im 90% sure its right, so here goes:
its the large haldron collider in cern.
its nickman is the balc circle, its underground where its freezing and on the cahill archives or whatever it talks about cern.
also, seeing as most of the clues so far have been elements it works perfect as it is used to make new things.
feel free to gun it down, but i reckon im right.

I thought it could be CERN too.
It does make sence with the whole circle for the particle accelerator

But we already found the Hydrogen clue there. And they are talking about 'a frozen land of Cahill secrets and betrayals' and 'lost treasure'. Where does all this come into the CERN?

Im almost positive i know where the next clue is hidden...

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
It is at the Money Pit, on Oak Island Nova Scotia. It fits all descriptions given by the summary and it hit me when i looked at the title of the next book (The Black Circle). A giant pit in the ground would qualify as the black circle, dont ya think

From wikipedia, "Franklin Roosevelt was part of the Old Gold Salvage group of 1909 and kept up with news and developments for most of his life."
Now FDR may or may not have been a Cahill, but Teddy Roosevelt was Lucian (Card #64)

I like the money pit theory and i read somewhere that FDR and Teddy Roosevelt were 5th cousins in real life so FDR is probably a Cahill for that reason. Plus, in MoB it says that his wife, Eleanor Roosevelt, was a Cahill.

lol. congrats iAnthony. Smile

Anyway, I was reading the "top secret" part of some of the cards from Branch vs. Branch... and I read Yasmeen Badawi's card. It seemed kind of interesting that Bae was looking for a machine that can withstand lava, and I thought it was quite possible that the "Black Circle" might be referring to an inactive volcano, maybe somewhere in Antartica (y'know... because of the frozen land thing) or somewhere that is cold. I thought of Mount Everest(naah. I don't think it was a volcano) or Mount Fuji(but they already went to Japan). So yeah...

PS. If you don't want to read my theory above, it's basically saying that the next location might be somewhere near a volcano.

Don't you think it's ironic that after they go under some major heat in Egypt, they'll go to a Frozen Land?

You know, I keep thinking that there's some clue about where Dan and Amy are headed in The Black Circle in Beyond the Grave. Mostly it's me thinking that Grace's note has that clue since it was basically the same kind of thing as the first clue to start everything off.

After rereading the letter I think it's in the p.s. She says "Mrs. Fenwick sends her best to S!" Then a little later in the chapter Dan and Amy talk about Mrs. Fenwick who always said she was part of one of the oldest families in Boston.

So, I went and looked for famous Boston Fenwick's and came up with Benedict Joseph Fenwick who opened Boston College himself in 1827.

I think they might be headed back to Boston.

Hi All ~ things have been hectic but you'll start seeing more of me next week ... Very Happy

My thoughts on all this are that they'll be heading for Turkey ~ Istanbul.

Follow Your Parents ...

In the article from the Boston Beacon, "Prominent Archaeologist and Humanitarian Dies in Tragic Fire" it reads:
...Hope Cahill graduated from Brown University in 1982 with degrees in History and Old World Archaeology. In 1989, she met Trent in Turkey where Cahill was supervising a dig and Trent was teaching math at the University of Istanbul...

They also travelled to Indonesia. I'm thinking Copper might have something to do with this too ... from the Clue embedded in Hopes wrist. ??

As to the Alliance ... the only person that is human enough and really has an understanding and empathy/compassion/connection is Alistair.

Back in September of 2003 (Top Secret Cards 20 & 22), Bae wrote to Alistair of his great disappointment in him … and how hopefully Bae's message was reaching him in Istanbul! Alistair has been rejected his whole life except by Grace. Hope grew up with Alistair. He looked after her like a big brother. He was there the night they died (my theory on that is the Kabra's started the fire (not Ian and Natalie … but their parents) as they drive away in their Limo leaving them to burn).

Patrick said that from this clue that was given in Card #426 that one could figure out in fact where Amy and Dan are headed to next.

Not to shoot down your theory, iAnthony, about Nova Scotia … but we've not come across any connection to Nova Scotia or Antarctica as of yet.

Frozen land … doesn't necessarily mean that the place is cold … it could possibly mean that it's a place frozen in time.

Belgrade which has been coming up lately is in Serbia. There is a connection to Tesla there …

Belgrade – (Serbia – old Yugoslavia) The Nikola Tesla Museum, founded in 1952, preserves the personal items of Nikola Tesla, the inventor after whom the Tesla unit was named. It holds around 160,000 original documents and around 5,700 other items.

Which gets back to Copper …

As the Industrial Revolution intensified in the 19th Century, new uses for copper were developed. New sources of copper were developed as well. Copper wire is vital in the use of electricity. The telegraph was patented by Samuel F. B. Morse in 1840. The telephone was demonstrated by Alexander Graham Bell in 1875. Thomas Edison applied for a patent on the incandescent lamp in 1879.

Copper is a critical component of modern industry. In the United States, the most important use of copper is in electrical wiring. Copper wire is used to carry electric current.

There is also a connection of Belgrade in Istanbul! The BELGRADE Forests. Although, I'm not sure if this is really a connection albeit it takes me back to Istanbul.
…The Belgrad Forest, inland from the Black Sea on the European side, is the largest forest around Istanbul. The Belgrade Forests are known as the lungs of Istanbul.

But most importantly … Istanbul is a port in the BLACK SEA! …The Black Circle??

Taken from Wiki:

Numerous ancient ports line Black Sea's coasts, some older than the pyramids[24].

Ancient trade routes in the region are currently being extensively studied by American, Bulgarian, and other scientists. It is widely believed that the Black Sea is packed with archaeology to be found. Perhaps the most promising areas in deepwater archaeology are the quest for submerged prehistoric settlements in the continental shelf and for ancient shipwrecks in the anoxic zone, which are expected to be exceptionally well preserved due to the absence of oxygen.

There is also a reference to Volcanic activity … and Frozen land:

The ongoing collision between the Eurasian and African plates and westward escape of the Anatolian block along the North Anatolian Fault and East Anatolian Faults dictates the current tectonic regime,[8] which features enhanced subsidence in the Black Sea basin and significant volcanic activity in the Anatolian region.[9] It is these geological mechanisms which, in the long term, have caused the periodic isolations of the Black Sea from the rest of the global ocean system.

The Black Sea is connected to the World Ocean by a chain of two shallow straits, the Dardanelles and the Bosporus. The Dardannelles are 55 m deep and the Bosporus is as shallow as 36 m. By comparison, at the height of the last Ice Age, sea levels were more than 100 m lower than they are now. There's also evidence that water levels in the Black Sea, too, were considerably lower at some point during the post-glacial period. Thus, for example, archeologists found fresh-water snail shells and man-made structures in roughly 300 feet (91 m) of water off the Black Sea coast of modern Turkey.

Interesting to note that there are submerged prehistoric settlements here … just a thought.
