I would like to add this page, not sure if relevent or not
http://tea-san.tripod.com/main.htm
a google search for myame : eeute brought that site...which has binary written on the site.
the binary says
Daniel, would you please just piss off and leave me and my friends alone?
just seems to strange and coincedental for me. Also a few days later (12th) says his computer crashed, and wont be back for awhile....
thoughts?

I dropped him an email, just incase it was something he found, etc.. But in all likelyhood it was an inside joke or something. Probably another player, who's page hits are going to skyrocket

These two are very iffy, though it's surprising to find there are any extra folders at all...
/demo might not have any of significance, but the /conf is strange... if it stands for configuration, which it probably does, then it could mean two things: it's for the coordinators of the ARG, or for us to decypher. I doubt former: why would they leave their configuration screen so exposed? If the latter, then we'll have to think which MetaCortex employee(s) would most likely be in charge of the MetaDex configuration. I'm leaning towards Regenhardt because Human Resources, IT Division sounds like the department responsible for such an application.

well, I know at least a few people are taking these seriously, focusing mostly on the demo directory since that fits the normal 'format'.
I think that if these were indeed for 'us' that they may have been located prematurely. To the best of my knowledge, other then the passive mentioning of demo and or beta on metadex, there has been no clue or guess at a clue that pointed towards these directories..
I think a lot of people are avoiding the conf directory since its most likely meant for some later usage, and without a guess as to what a login or a password would be, it would most likely be a blind brute force, instead of an informed 'what if'..
I did try and dig a little deeper into the demo directory, hoping something logical would pop up, but nothing has so far.. :-/
And input would be appreciated.. perferably here.. :)
[Edit: We know the PM's monitor this forum (or at least appear to) and the directories BOTH remain (I think its been around 36 hours I think) so they are probably for us, but what to do with them.. :-)
If they aren't, then I'm sure they'll poof, but the reaction times so far seem much faster then that, and I'm mentioned these directories countless times in chat.. ]

Dont know if this link is relevant I have had this link for a while and I got it off another forum but I can not remember which one.
Anyways I have checked a few sites that list all the links etc and no one seems to have this link
http://www.underscorehosting.com/webmail/src/login.php
I have no idea if it is relevant to the game if someone can use it great, if its been posted before or examined in great detail before then my apologies for repeating the information. I posted it here because it seemed the most relevant and current topic discussion thread.

I seriously doubt that the Squirel Mail page is part of the game. It is a pretty standard Web based email interface. I think that's just their way of checking the email accounts.

So after many long hours of watching IRC on one screen, these forums on another, and flipping through all the involved websites more times than I can count I have come up with the three following possibilities:
A. Everyone is so dang fast that we are ahead of schedule and the PMs are adding new stuff to the "game" on their own schedule.
B. The PMs are giving us a little break so new people can catch up and they can have a bigger audience.
C. In order to get more from them we have to solve existing puzzles. Perhaps solving puzzles triggers new puzzles.
I don't like option C because of the whole MLO password issue. When the puzzle hadn't been solved they added the Beatles quote to help us. If they thought we were stuck they would/should post something to help guide us. Perhaps a new sylvia file, paintover pic, little-boxes article.
That leaves A and B. Option B is the only thing keeping me from going nuts and throwing my computer out the window.
By the way, with there be a 12-Steps program at the end of the game to help us break the addiction?

I have the nagging feeling that it could turn out to be C, because we have SO much information and SO little is actually done with it, but I agree that it would be more likely if they had thrown us some clues by know as to where to focus on.
It might also be A, because if this ties in with a movie (or game?) release, say Revolutions, then we are not supposed to move too fast, or we'll uncover this all too early.
But in the end I vote for B, because yes, it's the only way to fight insanity

I'd imagine after the thought somebody's put into this, they would have a pretty solid timeline as to when they wanted to release information. There's so many thoughtful people playing this right now, they must know that if they put one puzzle out there after another, it'd be over before it had a chance to get really interesting.
Or frustrating.
