OK, just saw the Yavin4 video after TGH posted it on Twitter. The era is indeterminate - BUT I think it's likely in the Old Republic, because A) THere was no one left alive in the temple after Anakin killed the "younglings" <--*snicker*, and B) The MMORPG takes place in the old republic. From what I recall, the Jedi and Sith went back and forth for some time, so we're probably in early days, long before Ep. 1.

I don't think this video tells us much more, beyond the fact that the Jedi Temple has been sacked, and the Holocron was sent away from it. Assuming our videographer is a Jedi, he was attacked by someone with a lightsaber, likely a Sith. (or, vice-versa).

Yes, it seems like - and this dovetails well with the fact that this is all around the new MMORPG - this game will probably center around immersive role-playing. I don't think I'll get TOO much into that side of things.

HOWEVER, if there's a big ol' LARP session downtown, with troopers and light sabers and kids in costume screaming:
