Hey guys, new here! First ARG, as well, so bare with me if I don't make any sense

I've been lurking this one for a bit, and I think that the answers to this are in totheark's videos, not J's. I mean J's only contain the sightings and some distorted audio, whereas totheark's contain some codes and missing audio. Not a very big help, but if we can completely decode them, maybe it'll be useful?

Also, in one of his videos, there's a frame that says "WHERE IS THE ARK". I think he either might be referring to a reference in the bible, or maybe a physical location for some reason? Or maybe, he's making reference to Alex (has been proposed before). Alex, in my belief, is almost certainly "the ark". "totheark" maybe means that whoever is posting the videos is addressing them to Alex, or maybe he's stating his "destination" (he wants to get to Alex).

And as to the 8:10 video, I think it's just someone trying to mess with people, trying to ruin the game. But right now we're begging for clues, so I don't know.

Anyways, sorry if all this seemed obvious and I know that some, if not all of my theories have been proposed, but I felt like posting them anyways.

I don't know if this has anything to do with the ARG, but when it says "Where is the ark?" it might be refering to where this thing is. Also the things that gordon_ramsay has dug up might refer to Slendermans "hideout".
It might be in the building since we haven't seen the symbol else where.

I think that totheark being Alex is pretty implausible, and I'm basing all of this off of the Exit video/Entry 13. I mean, a couple of different implications occur.

Alex tells J he needs batteries. A couple of different things here. I mean, it's possible that Alex at this point was little rattled by this whole thing, so he simply forgot, and wants J to go fetch them while he takes a look around.

The video cuts out at this point, so it's possible that Alex could've taped him, maybe on a different tape or whatever. I don't like that theory, because then where the hell did J go? He's probably back at that point, and he's obviously nowhere near Alex. Besides, would Alex simply keep some tapes in a secret stash? It seems pretty obvious that Alex wanted nothing more with all this. I doubt he'd be going "OK, you take all these tapes. I'm gonna keep these select few."

I'm honestly starting to think that Alex may have been so paranoid at that point to work with somebody else to video tape J going to the car. What for, I have no idea. Maybe he thought this whole thing was a prank at first, and wanted to be sure J wasn't in on it? I mean, the video starts out, centered on the car. I'm sure they were expecting J to come back.

Of course, again, there's the whole "Where the hell is everybody else" thing. I mean, wouldn't Alex be seriously out of breath from all the running? I'm sure J would've noticed something.

I don't know. I get the feeling everybody's being shifty.

New here, like so many others. I just read all 71 pages of this,m and most of the other threads. Something just popped into my head that I haven't heard brought up yet. I'm not sure I even believe it myself, but it's worth noting...

What if totheark is meant to be misleading?

Noah's Ark was meant to be a safe haven, a way of saving animals from harm. What if totheark is trying to save all of us by leading us away from the answer? Obviously SM was pretty harmful to Alex -- at bare minimum it took a severe toll on his sanity, if you don't believe SM caused the damage in Entry 15. J has been getting sick and experiencing both blackouts and lost time simply from viewing this footage. Tim becomes nervous and fidgety when SM is brought up even in a vague sense, and so far as we know, Brian may be dead. Perhaps totheark is trying to "help" us in his eyes by throwing us off the trail so that we don't go too far down the rabbit hole, so to speak.

Again, I'm not sure I believe it myself, but it could explain the lack of headway made in the game... just something to ponder
