Ok one isince this is an ARG im sure J doesnt want to break any federal laws or do anything illegal for that matter. Second, the pills theory sounds right but why did J take them evrything is still fuzzy now and until the next entry I think we should just worry about J's situation because he is obviously now a target to the slenderman.

What I want to know is why the government didnt board up the house if it was either abandoned or a foreclosure.

For one thing, there have been no instances of ARG in this. It's more like an Alternate-Reality movie. Secondly, Patient-Doctor confidentiality is null and void if it can be proven to be linked to the death of the patient, or the patient is a missing persons and it could help to discover any habits or addictions to medication, which would help locate the patient.

Foreclosed houses in a populated neighborhood get boarded up, but there's abandoned buildings all over the place. Especially in a wooded area like that? If no one does anything with that, that is the haunted house for the town (Hell, probably county) in a 5 years, tops. You'll come back, see swastikas and pentagrams spray painted everywhere, strange litter laying around...

It's not a crime, no. But if someone IS an addiction, they could be trying to score some. And people do sell prescription drugs, which is illegal. That's a crime.

And yeah, he would need a warrant. The doctor thing does appear to be a dead end. It was just a thought, sorry for trying to voice my opinion. I should have known, silly me, that reality applies to every facet of this video.[/unfair sarcasm]

Well, like I said, it WAS unfair sarcasm. The bottle does look like a Zoloft bottle, but I've got a generic stomach settler with the same bottle style, and someone said something about mail-in prescription bottles looking like the other one.

If the meds are Alex's, I'd take a guess that they would probably revolve around his anxiety/paranoia, or something that could be produced from that (Stomach ulcers, stuff of that nature). Which I don't really think is a big insight, to be honest. We already know he was kind of messed up in the head as a result of this.

BUT! If the meds are Brian's, and they're totally different, this could possibly add credence to the idea that SM can affect people in different ways, and why J is sick.

Just because the doctor might not be able to give any info doesn't mean that it is a dead end. Aren't names and addresses typically on most prescription bottles as well as the Doctor's name? They might not belong to Alex or Brian, and could offer J a new avenue of information.
