 		in actual fact, the slender man has not yet been mentioned anywhere in MH
we just assume its the guy SA made up Rolling Eyes
EDIT: i understand if ye get too creeped out by this...
after hearing the regeneradores for the first time in resident evil 4, i tunred power off and didn't go near it again for a couple of weeks ¬_¬

kinda gotten over most horror now though

thank the gods for desensitisation Razz

 		We should be right to assume it is SM.

SM has the outstretched limbs etc.. You'll notice his arms are wayyy too long haha. He is also wearing a suit and has a blank face. Not to mention the stalking and the drawings.

Just because something looks like a fictional character doesn't mean it's that character.

In the large majority of the mythos and original author's pictures depicted extrenious arms that can grow in size or number. or appendages or whatever.
MH's Slenderman doesn't seem to have any extra arms, nor do they strech.

 		I believe from the mythos he had the ability to gain/stretch extra limbs, there are images where he only has the two arms.

Yes, I remember that thread on SA.com forums.

Then... what do you think the "OPERATOR" refers to? For me it means somebody who is controlling everything from behind a courtain or behind a safe distant place. It also could be related to phones and sound since the Operator is the person who communicates one person's phone to the other.

 		Guys. The guy who's making these videos is continually posting them in the damn thread of Slender Man's origin as the SA goons are still discussing Slender Man. The creator of the tapes even said in his fictional back story that the Slender Man myth caused him to want to view the tapes. And not only that, the figure that keeps appearing over and over again looks just like how Slender Man was described. And no, don't pull that 'he doesn't have outstretched tentacles and/or limbs' bullshit. We've only had a couple of vague glimpses at him throughout the tapes. You cannot actually see a majority of his body in any of the videos. So don't act like you know exactly what the Marble Hornets incarnation of Slender Man looks like...

Which makes me think: Marble Hornets is being posted for SA, but Slender Hunter came here to post. Another sign of "not related?"

I like how adding Something Awful to an ARG messes everything up and confuses everyone. Probably the way they would want it.

But yeah this is and has always been about Slender Man, though as with every addition to myth there WILL be inconsistencies. That's what makes myths so awesome Wink
