i do not recall this

and about him having tentacles and the like:

i doubt MH could pull any big stunts like that without looking ridiculously fake/cheesy or being on the final episode or something

Hi guys. First post on these forums.

I helped play an ARG on another forum and some of the hints were found by putting strange audio in a program that showed the spectrograph or something? Basically there were words/pictures hidden within the audio. I dunno what program it is or how to do it but I think someone should chase that lead

(I thought it was common practice for these kinds of things, surprised it hasn't been thought of earlier... but it does make me feel clever for thinking of it! Very Happy )

Off topic: Could someone link to where I can read about this "Wyoming Incident"? I tried wikipedia and encyclopedia dramatica (I assumed it had something to do with SA/the chans) but can't find anything.

Yeah, I've seen spectrographs used a lot in audio puzzles, but alas I have NO IDEA how to do it. I shall inquire as to that, however, to see if there's anything there (I doubt it) Wink

Considering how badly our Ark friend wants us to follow audio clues, I'm willing to bet something valuable. Of course, the audio distortion/clues could be indecipherable until later on where we have more to work with.

And I was so sure of myself to begin with, why have you caused this doubt within me Wink

Dav has that effect on people. Wink

I have work tomorrow, but I'll try and get some info out of our friends.

Wait a minute. Just realized something, Heark = Listen!

Maybe it means something.

Actually, the word you're looking for is 'hark'. 'Heark' isn't a word. And even then Tot Heark doesn't really make any sense...

Just a mention, not sure if it has been mentioned here before. I know we're going on anagrams for "totheark" but if you rearrange some letters you do get 'taker' with the remaining letters as Tho.

Tho taker? rofl. Could be a mis-spell of The taker or thou taker. Could also be 'though'.

I'm just throwing ideas out here.

or what about "thought taker"?

When I asked totheark the meaning of it's name, he answered: remaininthought.

Well, i'm really not sure. Tho is like internet slang for 'though'. BUT, the idea just popped into my head. Maybe 'thought taker' has something to do with mind control. Really big leap and not much evidence to back it up. I'll try and explain a few things in points.

- He has the ability for mind control.
- SM has the ability to alter thoughts and drive people insane or become paranoid.

That's all i've got so far. I'm still looking over possible anagrams for totheark that might work. Looking in 10 different languages aswell haha.

I'll post back soon.

Edit; what was the girls name in entry #9?

Well, Alex was altered, as proved by the entries... yet this could be related by the chasing itself and not because SM is "provoking" it.

However, J's "sickness" could also be related to it.

Also, let's remember that we do have a somewhat clear clue: the OPERATOR draw and the video of totheark. There's the chance that the OPERATOR (as showed on my chart) could be SM, and the probabilty that he got this name is because he "operates" people as if they were tools.

I'm also looking for more anagrams as well, yet I'm thinking it's really not that cryptic.

I think 'taker' works well.

Only other word I have found with remaining letters.

Threat

Only two I can really see that would have ANYTHING CLOSE to a meaning.
I'm going to go on another theory here. Maybe Alex is being used as a dummy and that's what the camera is for? Maybe he is trying to remember details of his last encounter before he slips off the radar and goes to the pub, assist, run around like an idiot, whatever..... We really haven't seen any evidence in regards to him being used though, so my theory is a bit of a downy.

Operator couldn't be like surgeon, could it? Just a wild chase that i've only got small evidence of. If we read the mythos regarding SM, he killed his victim with precise cuts. lol. I'm a joke, I know haha Razz

Nothing to do with SA, it was just another ARG.
Look around this forum, somewhere in archives, there are few lenghty posts summarising it
