 		My vote is for gamejack... until Jay or TTA make some reference to it, or make it a video reply, or whatever, I'm inclined to believe anything is just a gamejack/impersonator.

Jay hasn't been shy about pointing us (vaguely) in the right direction up until now, so I'm sure if there was another player in the game, he'd mention it.

Wow, that actually makes sense. Thanks for that point. J in Return looks like he did have the life sucked out of him. The same could have happened to Tim in 20 (We don't know of his encounters yet) so thanks for that point.
And J did point out that the last time he saw Alex he looked pale and sickly.

Another good point. Another theory I have is that in 16 the bullet casing was a shot at Slenderman and it seems as if it didn't work. I guess the blood in the sink comes from Slendy possessing who ever was in the house (Most likely Tim). So maybe Masky is like a second identity for a character such as Tim, Alex, or Brian which is actually Slenderman possessing them. That's all I have so far.


The bullet casing was found at the house that J received a tip to go to in order to find Brian, right? So if that was the place that the bullet was fired from, that would have meant that whoever was shot, was shot in that house. (I'm pretty sure it was taken from J's house later, but don't quote me on that. I just know he took it with him.) I still think that was a red herring. Maybe it disappeared from J's house because they wanted to remove it from the game because we were all obsessing over it too much and missing the real clues. Besides, we never found a gun, there was never a gun mentioned, etc. And we've established that the blood in the sink was from something much smaller than a gunshot wound, because there just wasn't enough of it. (When I re watched the video yesterday, it almost looked like it had splashed up through the drain. I know this didn't happen, it's just what the pattern looked like to me. I thought it was weird.)

I used to be against the theory of the mind control/multiple personality thing, but now I'm starting to go for it. It's possible that when SM possesses someone (if he does) they could 1)not remember it and 2) become a different person. So we have Masky and TTA. I think TTA is someone who knows consciously what he's doing, and he's trying to help someone (J or us) figure stuff out. Masky doesn't seem like he's aware of the stuff he's doing, or at least that's how it seems to me. He had the seizure after he unsuccessfully attacked J the first time. (Could be like SM punishing him, almost, for not doing the job right the first time.) They struggle again after J goes for the mask, and then that's where the video cuts out, isn't it? Or does he get up and run away THEN black out?

I also have revoked my vote about masky and TTA being one and the same. Something just doesn't seem right about it anymore.

Oh the blood wasn't from a gun wound. I was intending that it came from something like someone bleeding out their nose. Also if TTA isn't Masky, how could Return be filmed.

A lot of people toyed with that idea but it's obvious that it's a gamejack. People thought it was supposed to be Tim because when you see his shoes before the interview with him, they are blue.

hmm. This has piqued my interest. Being a HUGE Ghost Hunters fan, I know some things about cold spots. The theory goes that when an entity wants to manifest itself, it can draw energy from the surrounding air, resulting in a cold spot. Now, Sm could, theoretically of course, be drawing energy from the air while trying to manifest himself. Anybody else wanna help me out here?

Well there is a gust of wind in 11. Also more connections would be Tim smoking in 9 and the painting of the forest burning (which I suspect to be a red herring but still) which could be something else (still a stupid theory).

Well, as a (ashamed) smoker, I can tell you that smoking doesn't warm me up. Also, I think it was for the role. Because he clearly isn't a smoker and he lights it up during the filming. He doesn't get it to light before they cut. Once they start the next take, he lights it up again and still appears to fail.

So either:

A) He doesn't smoke IRL and can't light a cigarette.
B) It is a part of the scene and he stops trying to light it after Alex cuts. I'm more inclined to lean toward this, because if he just wanted a smoke, it would certainly be a faux pa to just light one up in the middle of a scene unless it was called for.


Ashamed smoker 2 here, I was wondering the same thing. It looked like he had never tried to light a cigarette before in his.

Agreed.

Has anyone else noticed that the ONLY SM pics he's posted are from either here (There were a few that someone found from the gazeebo, and then there were pictures from Jay's videos)

So until it is acknowledged, I will post a frowny face everytime blushoes or S0methingsoff is mentioned.

I agree completely. Masky is in the first part of the episode, but the camera man is completely unknown at this point other than its probably TTA. Then again someone could be giving TTA the videos as well. But I have my feelings that TTA and Masky are completely seperate entities, I highly suspect TTA is brian though.

Edit for clarity: When I say we saw masky in the first part of the video, I'm grouping it with 19 as it happened in the missing 3 hours. So masky was present on video earlier that night, not in return.




Edited edit: Just wanted to mention, and didn't feel like making another post anywhere else. If anyone else wishes to deficate an entire schoolhouse of bricks, I suggest you pick up "The strangers" Masks and creepy people in trees abound. Its not slenderman, but it has much of the same feel and just scared the crap out of me after following this for so long. Attached is the DVD cover so you get a feel of what I was freaking over.
