So our official speculation opinion is the voice is saying "Alex"
To be honest though, I am not more than 60% sure that's what it so I'm keeping "help me" in mind in case this comes into play later...

It definitely says Alex. And I stand by my theory that it is audio that was removed from a tape.

You know, I love ARG's. I lurk 99% of the time but I still love watching them unfold. This is always the worst part; Waiting for the next update. I think we don't have enough information go on untill we more information from Marble Hornets or Totheark.

Some thoughts on Entry 1:
- Not counting the slide-past-the-window in Entry 6, it's the only time we see SM move in the Entries. Along with the dramatic head-turn, if you watch at the shadow out the window in Entry 1, you'll notice that SM is looking around before Alex sticks his camera out the window.

- SM is standing near Alex's front porch in Entry 1. Seems like a bad spot to spy on Alex - everyone in the neighborhood should be able to see SM skulking about. Maybe he doesn't care if people spot him.

- It looks like SM has his right arm up, but you can't see his hand. Might just be a shadow on the railing behind him.

- Alex is running through the house and the scene cuts. Alex looks out the window, and the scene cuts. J didn't edit the clip, so why is this missing so much footage? It's possible that this was taken before Alex began constantly filming himself - could be the reason why he started filming himself.

- J seemed surprisingly calm about a fairly troubling set of clips.

Indeed. We're just calling the tall person Slender Man because he happens to look a lot like that character, and because J (Ce Gars) linked the first few videos in that SA thread. There's no reason to assume anything about him. Morscata, you are also assuming the slender man is malicious. Who's to say? Maybe he's just looking for friendship Confused

Yes, chances are he is some sort of child-eating monsters, but let's not make too many assumptions if they can be avoided. In the videos, the most aggressive thing we've seen him do is look through the windows; and he doesn't exactly seem to be bristling with social finesse.

I'm starting to think that with the blackout, maybe the videos are starting to effect him "physically". I mean, in a sense there is a possibility that there is a presence within these tapes, an aftereffect of SM exposure at work here!

Not trying to imply that the operator theory is correct, but maybe J is withholding footage and other important information. He'll, he could very well know what happened to Alex, yet his mind has become distorted.

I'm going to put this out there randomly, I don't necessarily believe this, and it has been previously mentioned beforehand: Maybe Totheark is the part of J's mind that is trying to get himself/the other followers on track. It even could damn well be his mind trying to fix itself, showing J what needs to be seen to put the messed up mind back together.

Though it could very well be the broken mind trying to express what had been repressed. Then again, we have no idea wether or not J is really mentally I'll or not!

Slender Man could possibly have to weaken his victims first. Or, if he is malicious as they say, maybe he is just toying with Alex, and that the more violent videos are yet to be posted.
