Is anyone here good with morse code? I for one know that I'm terrible with it. Well, you know how nobody has figured out what Deluge was about, I have a pretty good theory of figuring it out.

To me, I see a flickering florescence light. To me, I hear someone saying "Alexxx", but reversed. Well, when I added some visual darkening, and some contrast, the light was flickering in a morse code fashion that you'd see two old surfaced submarines using. (Saw that in some movie. They used giant spotlights with slats on the front of them.) Well, in the Deluge thread, I posted my video. Currently, I can't find anyway of slowing it down past 1/2. I can almost GUARANTEE that it is Morse code in the video.

So please, if you can do Morse code, do this for the us.

Funny you mention that right now. I've been messing with it for 2 days now. Needless to say the code does not follow strict morse. If you try to decode it you just get mumbo jumbo. BUT after broadening my perception of what a "dit" and "dah" and blah blah blah is, I'm pretty sure the first 4 letters are "K","I","L","L". Past that, im not getting anything.

I'll try and do another run through right now. This'll be my second. Maybe if we do it enough, it will average into something intelligible?

Edit:

At any rate, I've gotten this so far:

Code:
1. --.-..-..-..-
2. --.--.--
3. --.--.---..---. (This one is just 5sec in...)

Each number is a different run that I did, but I was unable to complete the whole video...

Anyway, for number 3, when I divided it up, it gave me "MANMNAME"

I did divide it up like this:
Code:
-- .- -. -- -. .- -- .

Edit:

I'm almost positive that the first 4 is --.-

So, in the park video, Entry 4, I'm placing my money on Alex chasing after the SM, not the other way around.

It might be hard to see in the video, but with contrast down, Alex does round that barrel after SM.

I hope that clarifies things, unless it's already clarified, then I just wasted 15 minutes.

I forgot to get a third capture of Alex looking up having rounded it, but I hope you get the gist.

Here's what I think happened:
Slender Man distorts the video (the first few seconds of the entry) and cuts out the audio (when Alex turns on the lights, you can hear a lot of background noise). He sneaks slowly into the room and hides somewhere into the corner. As he's hiding, he hits Alex, waking him up and causing him to start bleeding. Alex wonders why his door is open and goes to close it, then goes back to bed.

32 minutes later, Alex appears to be in a trance waiting to change the tape. I don't think he realizes he is covered in blood, otherwise he would have cleaned it off. He is either traumatized or is under Slender Man's hypnotic control. Option 2 could explain why Alex is filming himself. If he is routinely hypnotized by Slender Man, then he needs a long-term way to keep track of his interactions with Slender Man (since he can't trust his memory).

Glad J is going to start the search for Alex. I have a feeling Entries 1-14 have set the stage for something really good. Still, would anyone go to a Marble Hornets event if you knew the Slender Man was lurking around? Shocked

This post got me thinking. If J is not to be trusted then I have formulated a theory based on option 2:
J is also being visited by SM as he is posting these. He can't be trusted because SM is hypnotizing him just like Alex.

The night J blacked out can be explained by this. J has been in danger ever since he found those videos. It might also explain his worsening health.

Hey, a little bit off topic, but i just read back through the old posts to see if we had forgotten anything and i was just wondering if anyone who kept this alive back then was still hanging around.

Shiningfist?
Chaos?
Dav?

Still lurking out there?

When the SM was walking into J's room, it didn't look like his hands or fingers were moving; it wasn't very lifelike. It may just be me, but if I don't see some motion in the appendages, I won't be able to find the SM very believable anymore. And that would just ruin this awesome ARG for me Sad

I agree with the hands, but the fact that the legs move kinda gets me creeped out. Just when I'm thinking it's a mannequin being puppeted, I see something like that.

The mix of the two, moveable legs and stationary hands is kinda unnerving too.

Did anyone see the picture I posted in the SM Picture thread where I think you can kinda see his face?

Could it possibly be "MY NAME"? If so, that might be a huge find.

SM Appendages

I think you were right in referring to them as appendages and not "Arms" or "Hands".

In my mind, his upper appendages would be more like a Praying Mantis', so not much movement would be expected.

Slenderman doesn't have fingers, he has tentacles that kinda shape shift into arm-like appendages.

Anyone notice how the lights in Deluge look like \\?

Regards = //////// also, in the video there are 3 different sized of // grids. Also, they blink. Does the blinking represent something?

Operator = \\\yes\\\ also, the capital letters in the words spell LISTEN.

Deluge = \\ ///

Can anyone make sense out of this stuff?

Edit: In Regards, the blinking could be morse code, which I know nothing about. The first set of slashes has two long blinks, so would that be - -? Second set had one quick double blink . ? and then the third set had a double then long, so, . - ? - - . .-?

If we look at them like numbers, though, it looks like this: 11/2/12 (one blink one blink/ two blinks/ one blink two blinks). Or 11212. ""11 to 12"?

I've been thinking about possible things with these. Maybe we add them? 2/2/3? "2 to 3"?

I dunno. Am I barking up the wrong tree here?

EDIT 2: In Operator, the words show up as clusters. Here they are represented in numbers: 1/3/1/1/1/2/1

No, but you aren't reading my posts. I'm going to transfer this all to the Deluge thread. Maybe someone will join me there. It possibly is the most UNDERLOOKED video of totheark. I'm sure that there are answers in it...

Edit:

I'm fairly sure it isn't "My Name". I wish I knew someone who could do morse code to help me out with this.
