RENFRO VALLEY CONFIRMED!

Use 7382 US-25 N Mt Vernon
on Goole Maps, and compare it with 0:43 in the video!

And Busted.

sorry anonwin, gotta go against you on this one. Like 9129 said, there are streetlamps in the video that dont match up with the image from google.
Ontop of that as I pointed out the foliage and houses dont properly match up and the google image looks more rural whereas the video looks more urban.

Already edited. Razz
But hey, we'll find him.
If Library staff confirm the Lib. I'll mail them the entire video, to see if they know the person with the mask.
I'd reckognize friends wearing masks so they might reckon him. Wink

Goddamn Opera.

I was refreshing the thread on /x/, and apparently spacebar counts as click or something.. Long story short, when I was reading thru the thread, SUDDENLY the opening picture of a masked man loaded in the tab. I nearly choked on my breakfast. Laughing

One thing that I keep coming back to is the sign. I don't really think of anywhere in Kentucky as a bilingual area, but if this does happen to be a part of town with a lot of factory work with a large Mexican population, it will be easier to isolate at least one location of the video. Although I can't verify it, my guess would be that the "first" is part of "safety first" suggesting that the street is either near an industrial area, or a building that is under construction. The latter would be hard to verify on Google Maps, as they tend to not be up-to-date.

Just some thoughts, but I do think that the Spanish on the sign needs an explanation before we can verify that this mystery is completely KY-centric.

Have you noticed that the other sigh is in a full bold font?
Would It be translation or diffrent sign, if it is the latter it would mean we're dealing with a mexican!

Horse parks, my friend.
The rate of illegal aliens in Ky boomed the past few years because of the menial work had here with the horses and stables. So there are lots of Spanish-speakers, and there are many bilingual businesses and businesses trying to get bilingual.

There is a horse park in Lexington KY 928-282-7730!

And there is something called a Horse Cave in KY! HC

Gotta be honest I got experience with building sites, and this looks like a building site a bit more Smile

I have family all over that are, so if something in game needs to be found in IRL, I might be able to work that out. I'm still not sure that this is a confirmed Kentucky located ARG. The dates under occupation, I still believe are murder dates, or something along those lines.... Especially with the next one being so close to Halloween, What better time of year for a spooky killer hunt? Very Happy

Coded messages tell us it's a game, therefor comfirmed ARG imo.
And also it's almost 100% surely KY located.

The /x/ thread just 404'd, by the way. No reposts yet. Probably not going to be anymore great conclusions by them until morning anyway.

I'm aware what coded messages mean, wans't asking if it was a confirmed ARG. I understand it's an ARG, but I'm still not sure it is in Kentucky is all... WE need more to go off of... Granted, yes it does seem very likely that it may in fact be in Kentucky.
