Jking of course, but what if someone found the "gift" by accident, and just either took it or put it somewhere else (I don't know why they would, but you never know). Maybe the killer put it in a relatively hard to find space, so that wouldn't happen. In which case, maybe your brother actually did go there, and just didn't find it.

Of course, he could have just not gone, like you said Smile

Yeah, but the man gave us pictures of where it was hidden and you can easily see the box from underneath the rocks.

Good point, I forgot about that.

 		Alright. I gave him the location, pictures, and my email for contact. He said he'll go ahead and talk to one of his friend's and ask to pick it up tomorrow.

Hopefully this works out smoothly.

Make sure he takes pics of the location whether or not the box is there. Just for conformation, along with pics of the clue/box.

Maybe even have them talk to the owner or an employee of the bowling alley to keep an eye out for them as they head to the underpass. Just to keep an eye out for suspicious activity and make sure they don't die.

 		I believe the bowling alley is out of business. I attempted to call there and the number has been disconnected and I cannot find any other reference of it anywhere.

I was having this exact same issue with youtube yesterday, remember? It's just youtube at the moment I believe. Because I have this happen with any video on youtube.
