Well I'll just say good job at figuring that out, but yes, that was one of the very first things decoded.

To everyone else:
After re-reading everyone's posts, I understand that it's getting frustrating when people are just repeating themselves about the audio, but instead of discouraging them to tell us something we don't know, I'd say let them repeat. There's always a chance that they'll hear something you or I didn't hear.

 		I've tried for a while with the audio... There's definitely something there, and I tried to isolate it with the graphic equalizer, noise reduction, etc... To no avail.

One thing, though: It's much clearer that someone's talking if you play it back at 2x speed, but I simply can't make it out with all the background crap.

I am going to find a vocal plug in for Sony Sound Forge tonight. I know there is one out there that will turn normal songs into karaoke versions by "deleting" the vocal tracks, however, you can isolate the vocals only and remove the other noise. I just need to find it again and install it, after I get off work that is. And you're right, if you increase the speed to 2x, and/or adjust the pitch with leaving the duration alone, you get a clearer voice.

 		Talking to Mucka and Ama on MSN - here's a theory. The killer... he's a student.

He's disappearing to that date in October, which would be a mid-semester break. And he says he visits KY sometimes.

As in, that's his hometown and he comes back to visit, perhaps?

And the video, does it get that cold in KY in winter to have steam rise from the sewers? I think we need to look North.

Also, everything about this screams student: Art student quality video/audio, lots of experimentation. There was something vaudevillian about his mask - I think it was white facepaint.

Also, an interest in the Bible but claiming to be God, A chemical works, mathematical equations. I think he's a chemist and an artist. Just a hunch.

Yes, it most definetly does get cold in Kentucky in winter. Much colder in fact. I can remember Christmas' visiting family there growing up, with snok blanketing the ground and the windows so covered in frost you couldn't see out of them. It also get's that cold at night in some parts even in the summer. Especially in the areas that are down in between the "mountains" and valleys and such. I have seen my breat at night in the summer there.... but, we do know that it was at least uploaded in April, so taped then or before... In April, it gets cold enough there for the steam very often Smile

Hey now, I am a /b/tard as well, however, I do like me some /x/ too. I figured I would put away my propensity for shenanigans and try to help solve this. Not knowing the answer to something has always bothered me, and a friend of mine told me about the video which got me on this trip now.
On another note, I wonder if there are any ARGs going on in Oklahoma. I would dig finding out.
