Pardon the jump-in from a lurker, but wanted to make sure you guys saw this - from Uno's Facebook:

furious over your tactless and cowardly attempts to damage something good, I'd feel sorry for you. Move on. Really.

To those of you like Casey's Mom, Drinking Mercury, Usagi, HeyBeesly, Noelle, AmanoJ, Christylezo, mmdoogie, ghost, simonkaroo, Pia Ward, datura, Lionheart, and all the others who contributed greatly: I thank you and I am deeply sorry it has come to this. I spent days trying to undo the damage done by this person, but I have to know when to call it a day and end it. When someone not only wants to tear
down the curtain, but make creepy and (what I consider) threatening statements in the process, everything ends. Enough is enough.

I'd like to tell you who I am. I'd like to get to know you. In a way, I already have. There is a lot of Uno/Adam in me and a lot of me in him. As fantastic and unreal as so much of this was, there is a backbone of reality to it... even moreso in the content that was upcoming but will never see the light of day. I consider some of you friends. Yes, already. Some of you have a light that shines through even across a medium as cold and impersonal as the internet.

However, having to end it this way, against my personal wishes, I don't know if it would be best to reveal myself. I consider the end result of this a failure and I wish I could give you all your time back. I wish I could get mine back too (aside from the fact that I got to "meet" all of you though this). A great deal of time, thought and effort went into this... only to have one bitter individual bring it to a crashing halt. I'd rather not have my real name tied to a failed piece of chaotic fiction.

I will still be available via the oneSPLAThallucinine.com email address for a while before I take the site down and vacate the domain name (which I still like). I'd love to hear from you if you have any thoughts.

Again, my deepest apologies. I don't like this any more than you do.

I'm really not sure why.... but that made me laugh.
Just keep in mind, Adam was forgiven...
I'm sure he forgives you also! Besides you never called him creepy, you said the photo was creepy. And that was a fair statement..lol

 		So what happened? I was out for a couple weeks and when I got back, there were people leaving the forums, apologies and explanations being made, but I could never find out what was going on. I didn't know the wiki had been hacked.
I was really into this ARG when it began and continued to lurk as school started and I couldn't devote as much time to playing. I'm sad that it had to end like this.

I don't think you really missed as much as you think you did. The wiki hack happened quite a while back, and was restored later the same day. So that wasn't a big deal.
As far as anyone leaving the forum, there was a bit of a misunderstanding/disagreement between a couple of people, and one of them decided to just leave.
As far as any new clues or content, the last things added were the pages that are listed as "chapter 3" in the thread. But there has been alot of time gone by without any kind of update. So if you were lurking on and off, you probably aren't really behind.
The last event of the story was that Adam got arrested, (because he had an "episode" in public). He had his notebooks with him in his backpack, and when he was released, he thinks some of the notebooks were missing.
-Anyway, it's been fun and interesting, but I guess it's over with now.
In case you haven't checked Uno's facebook page, the pm left a message there that reveals who he is, and an invitation to move to his "real" facebook page.

 		wow. i just heard. what a sad turn of events.

i hope Adam can recover from all this and maybe create something else at some point since he has made the decision to kill this off. truly sad indeed.

I'm at work right now, so I can't access Facebook, but I'll check out the message on there as soon as I get home. Sigh. Poor Adam.

I do hope this PM decides to do something in the future. I really enjoyed the duration of this game for as long as it lasted.

 		But the game isn't really over, is it? Now we have Silverladder to play with. I've checked it out a bit and I honestly have no idea what the hell is going on with it.

silverladder ened a long while ago. the arg lasted like 52 weeks every week he gave a clue like clock work on the same day.
