What the &%$#!!! How can you quit something you've contributed to just because it got "creepy". You still sleep with the lights on?...lol. Come on now. We have one of the best teams in ARG history on a fun game. You can't leave now...

Galv you can't leave!! This isn't even half as creepy as some of the args I've seen that include twisted murderous videos with spooky cathedral music. Please stay!! It's just some loony doctor who blew people up (or thought he did) and we're going to take him down!!

You guys are really nice to want me to stay on, but I had a lot of issues with severe surgery and stuff as a baby and young child that left a big...impression on the kinds of things that I can handle. Creepy whitecoat researchers is one of the things that makes me physically feel sick when I think about it (The episode of LOST with Claire in the Staff station with the Others dressed as doctors made me feel exactly the same way, and ruined the show for me. Believe me when I tell you I've tried to not let it worry me before, and I can't shake the sick feeling these things give me.). Unless you have it, you guys probably wouldn't understand it. Is it frustrating? Yes. Is it something I've learned to deal with. Yes; sorry guys, but I'm out. Sad

Matthew just updated his blog with a link at the top titled Killer.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

Killer
I can't believe it.

I can hear the shrill ringing of the alarm.

And what's more:

I remember.

I remember his trying to get rid of me.

I remember it all.

He will not get away with this.

Dr. William Darrell, the killer, the murderer, a tale of the grotesque.

Google tells me there's a book called Winesburg, Ohio by Sherwood Anderson which features something about a "book of the grotesque."

The last line he says refers to:

Tales of the Grotesque and Arabesque
by Edgar Allan Poe

"A Book of the Grotesque" is a chapter I believe from a book called Winesburg, Ohio with other chapters including "Hands" and "Paper Pills"

I'm a microsoft man. "BING!!!". haha.

Anyway. I was wondering since he didnt use the word "Arabesque" if it might have some meaning in where we are going or maybe a password, we should try everything at this point. This story moves so fast.

Ript

EDIT: The work by Edgar Poe is actually 2 volumes. 2 compilations of most of his stories. I hope we dont have to go through 25 stories to further this thing...lol.
