Man, I go away for dinner and a movie and all hell breaks loose.

Awesome work, everyone. We've got the backstory now. Also, kudos to the PMs for putting together a compelling story without a huge cast, a huge budget, and without marketing anything (so far). Think about it, we're hooked on a couple of blogs and twitter accounts.

Anyway, on Spring Awakens, there's a play called Spring Awakening by Frank Wedekind. It's all about young kids discovering all the various forms of sexuality in turn of the century Germany, just before they all get horribly killed and/or scarred in WWI. I don't exactly see where it's applicable to the current ARG, but that's what comes to mind.

All right, confession time.

I'm playing the part of the good little suck-up...I mean devoted employee. I've contacted Dr. Darrell and more or less summarized things that have been uncovered. I've told him that his wordpress blog was found (it's completely not his business to know that I'm the one who found it ) and the entries unlocked, revealing details about the events of 2007. Since this thing keeps hitting personal notes with me (the way his mother was killed is eerily similar to the way one of my friends was killed), I expressed my sympathies and pointed out that I'm as devoted as ever to the project.

I also let him know that Christine has switched sides since her termination and that she and Matthew have plans to meet and who Matthew claims to be.

Maybe it's just me, but if someone were accusing me of being a killer and claiming to be my supposedly dead co-founder, I'd be a little more willing to be open to someone who's willing to tell me what they know about the "enemy". Instead of getting information about the co-founder, or Matthew, or anything all that useful, I get this:

The whole "spring awakens" thing kept bringing to mind Spring Awakening to me...which apparently was the right way to go.
