Looks like Matthew (and Christine?) are taking a break/laying low for a while too (from Twitter):

This just in from our dear doctor:

Quote:
Gabriel:

You were supposed to ensure their capture, restraining, and disposal. You failed. We have no idea where Matthew and Christine have gone. This could have grave repercussions for the Institute and will have grave repercussions for you. Count on it.

Now, what about Christopher?

Haha! So did I! I saw the subject header and I was like "what? No! I was on your side!" Then I read it and felt a little relieved. Sad for poor Gabriel, though. I'm starting to think we might need a running body count for the full-time staff. Anyone wanna guess who's gonna be next?

I say Kyle Lloyd, as the director for marketing and archives (weird combo by the way) he's the one most likely to start leaking us information to us about the Institute's past.

I think the week off was built in from the very beginning. The PM(s) had summer vacation planned.

You're right about us finishing too quickly. Though Matthew was feeding us hints whenever we'd get stalled.

Oh well, over to ZombieTruth for a week.

Just a thought: If Gabriel has just been called out, perhaps we can convince him over to the anti-Institute side?

Maybe, it's worth a shot anyway. I wonder if we can get to him before he gets fired? Anyone got Gabe's personal e-mail?

I'm not an employee, so I haven't been getting email from him, but I don't mind shooting an email if someone can give me the address. I'm guessing that we should try to contact him and see if we can glean a personal, unmonitored method of communication. After all, from what we know of the Institute and its methods, Gabriel is either already dead or will be soon.

Alright, keeping in mind that his email is probably being watched, I did my best to get his attention without attracting anybody else's:

Gabriel,

I have been having some technical issues with my computer at home, and no matter what I do, I just can't seem to fix it. After talking to a friend about it, he gave me your email, saying that you were fairly knowledgable about computers and may be able to talk me through a solution. However, my predicament is rather... embarassing... and I'd rather not get into the details of it over an email address that could be monitored. If you have some time, would you mind shooting me an email from your personal address to see if you can help fix my computer?

Thanks,

John

I'll post here if I get a response.

It's back on!

Text message from the Institute, the game is back on! And Dr. Darrell is cracked.

Quote:
Good news: Christopher Naip has rejoined our team, albeit unwillingly. Now no one can stop our progress since the other two fools, Matthew and Christine, ran away!

I'm going to tell Matt about what happened right now, I'll tell you guys if I get a response.

PS Nice e-mail ironnikki, hope it gets you results.

ETA: New update on the website, it's not too big though

Awesome! I was starting to get worried about the future of this one.

Nothing yet from the email, but I may be barking up the wrong tree anyway. Hope that Chris is alright... Sounds like he was probably blackmailed into rejoining the Institute.

Because Chris went back unwillingly... do you think he could be our true 'insider'? It's worth an ask eh? Ok, you convinced me, I'll see what I can do.

OOG Question - Do we have any idea if this ARG is for anything, or just the game. I would think there could be affiliations but I don't know. There haven't been any intricate games (other than the Dr's blog game). Not that I mind either way I'll keep playing.
