New Email From Dr. Darrell

Quote:
Seemingly the FDA is not very appreciative of our newest innovation, Project Dolor. They want to deny our continuation of testing. Does anyone have any ideas on how to prevent this from happening? We must continue on schedule!

Let me know. Be sure to let others know of your ideas as well using the group e-mail addresses.

Wow, lots of developments in a short time span. Well, being on the "anti-institute" side of things, I'm glad that the FDA put a stop to their experimentation. But it looks like Darrell is being backed into a corner, and we all know that backing dangerous people into corner is, well... dangerous.

I'm eager to see where this goes.

just found this Site while going down the 42 entertainment Rabbit hole. I've checked into Tron and Zombie nation but this one seems the most interesting... I wonder if they needed test subjects (looks like I found unfiction a little too late..) the only ARG I played was Majestic. I had no idea people have really run with the idea.

For those of you without access to the dolortemps emails, I just sent Dr. Darrell an email for an idea (see my previous post for reference).
Here is my email:

Quote:
What if we told the FDA that this was more of a case study of emotional/psychological study with the voluteers knowing (and signing off on) exactly what we would be doing with Dolor. If we can keep this as a "study" and "research-only based" then we should have no problem keeping the FDA out of our hair for a while.

Dr. Swift

Edit: Dr. Darrell sent the original message to the temps as well as dolor@... I got a bounce-back from that saying not a real email address or I don't have access.

Great idea swift, I wonder if you'll be the one to get level 1 access?

Good thinking on your part Swift. Though I suppose I'm playing the devil's advocate a bit here... haha.

So for those without dolortemps, here's my email:

Quote:
Here are all the exemptions for allowing the use of human subjects in research:

http://www.hhs.gov/ohrp/humansubjects/guidance/decisioncharts.htm#c2

Perhaps you could get accreditation for the Institute as an educational institution thus allowing the exemption for educational institutions? Perhaps we could be put on public display and qualify for an exemption that way?

We could waive informed consent per Chart 10.

Also, for some reason there was a third address dolorSPLATinstituteforfuturemedicine.com that bounced. What's with that?

Good job sir... I guess my idea was for the not.... I might as well defect now Wink

Quote:
Let's thank Dean for this great idea!

I'll go change the paperwork now. Seems like we can continue our work... and continue we shall. I'm ordering human tests beginning Friday. More information regarding that soon.

Why do I think I've just signed myself up for a lot of pain? Smile

I mean, I've signed up to be a test subject, and the government says the drug is too dangerous to test on humans, so I help my researcher (tormentor?) figure out a way to get around government regulation? There's something wrong with that.

Ok here's two replies to my DM from Matt,

Quote:
nogainswoutpainOh God. Christine and I are making our way back home. I'm going to try to contact him... see if this is true or not. I'll keep you posted

and

Quote:
nogainswoutpainI haven't been able to get him on the phone... and no one knows where Chris is. I'm going over to his house... see if I can find anything.

It looks like we're going to lose Matt, they've probably got Chris's house surrounded. I did try to stop him from going, I don't know if it worked though.

After Benjamin's email* I responded to him saying I was getting very concerned and suggesting he gather any important data he has and send it to the police.

*
Quote:

Dr. Darrell:

With all due respect, there's no way we can ethically change the paperwork, let alone test it on humans! We have seen it fail many times! It has never worked. Testing it on humans would be a grave mistake.

The government has already voiced its opinion. We should investigate other opportunities; we cannot continue on like this!

I'm not sure if maybe I need a fishy slap here or not. But did anyone else get another text message that reads:
Quote:

/since the other fools, Matthew and Christine ran away!

It was sent after the the one saying that Christopher was back... Is there a new blog page?

**edit- ok, I'm assuming it was just to continue the text message. Like for a limited amount of characters..?

Got lost for a minute there; didn't realize the thread had been moved.

Anyway, yes, Caseys_Mom, I think the other employees got the same text message. Catgirl posted about it earlier, and its all just one message.

Let's hope that Matt and Christine are okay...

New tweet from Matthew (glad I found the thread)

Quote:
They do have Chris. It wasn't just a trick. We went over to Chris's house and it was completely dark. We're going inside it today.

Email for those not recieving temp-employee email:

Quote:
Ben, let me inform you of something:

I will not be made a fool! I have worked too long on this Project to have it fail. It cannot fail and I'm confident that it will not fail. So don't even try to stop me.

The paperwork has been changed. We have the green light. I think Chris will make a nice test subject, don't you? It begins tomorrow.
