Okay, since childrenofz posted a picture of his CURRENT location, is anyone else thinking dead drop/live meet?

http://twitpic.com/bvg8s

Looks like a restaurant of some type of course. Anyone in San Antonio?

Alas, I'm in Tulsa, and that's several (dozen) hours away. I'd love to investigate in person, though.

The pic posted has a file name of 19965888
Could this help with one of the weird decypher things that I don't quite understand?

Worth thinking about, but it's likely just the auto-assigned filename from the site.

Could the "puzzle palace" be a reference to the NSA? Not sure what that gets us if it is.

I'm toying with the idea that this is a transposition cipher and the 649 is somehow the key.
Unfortunately, I have NO idea how to decode this, key or no key.

Ditto. Have switched to the Rumkin tools LINK that Booba posted as it's easier to gauge Sotpyrk's (imo partial) columnar key.
Coffee Since Toasty or Booba haven't cracked it yet, maybe it's a double transpostion? Could Sotpyrk's NSA reffy be a taunt that he has read his "KRF Group profile" on the ZT forums or simply misdirection?

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned, and I know that this is probably just a tired thought, but what if 649 just means the key is 19 letters? 6 letter word followed by a 4 letter word followed by a 9 letter word?

IDK Sad

Epistle of Jeremiah 6:49

How then cannot men perceive that they be no gods, which can neither save themselves from war, nor from plague?

I do. It looks like its down at the Riverwalk, I think I see water on the left, behind the chair. It looks like a balcony across the way. Blue umbrellas though. I don't remember one with blue umbrellas. Maybe, it is down near Howl at the Moon or Coyote Ugly. Not sure. I don't remember a restaurant near there with wooden tables like that though.

Man, parking is expensive down there. Bleh.

I replied to his tweet about it. Asking if he/she was enjoying the Riverwalk and asking if they needed help and were still around. Hell, maybe I could convince them to meet me for lunch, lol!

It's a skip cipher, ladies and gents. The key might be 19? or 649?

Pity the cipher is from a villian maniac as I'm enjoying doing my first "skip". Mentioning this tweet as it uses "awry" (twisted)

It's maddening that Sotpyrk has to grab us by the hand and essentially lead us to the solution, maybe we don't deserve to live after all!

That's scary, he sounds like he's in Houston.
