Atlanta Meetup: Saturday August 15
D&Bs in Duluth (Gwinnett)

I've recently come to the realization that there are a lot more Atlanta area ARGfolk than I thought. This is awesome. This also suggests that we've got enough for a meetup of sorts. Yay.

Plus, rumor is that there may be another one of those ARGFest things next year and at least one person has suggested Atlanta. Apparently there's going to be this whole proposal procedure and, I thought, if the gathering goes well we might consider putting our name in the hat.

DETAILS! WE HAVE THEM!

Where: D&Bs Gwinnett

When: Saturday, August 15 between 3-6pm
(if you get there early, that's cool. You can stay past 6, too)

Very cool idea. I'm interested to see the headcount, as well.

I'm actually down in Columbus these days , but it's not like the hour drive is any different then getting anywhere else ITP around 5 o'clock so I'd be interested.

I just got approval for a week of training in Atlanta this month. I'll figure out what the dates are, then browbeat talk everyone else into meeting on or around those dates.

I'm game! Not sure about the best time or location but pretty much any Sat would work better than Sun.

I was gonna wait until a few more folks replied, but going off of the "When is Good" thing, it's looking like the afternoon of Saturday, August 15th is our best time.

So, we should probably think about a where. As much as I love a couple of the parks, it might be best to plan something indoors for fear of rain and/or heat. Maybe Dave & Busters - fun, casual and an easy place to find a distraction if y'all are freaks Razz

D&B was fun before Last Call Poker. It's also near me, so that's a plus. And that date works for me. And best of all, I'm finally 21!

D&B is good! I'm actually looking forward to the meet up. It's been too long...

I will see if I can make it but I can't make any promises. I live in Augusta so it would be a good 4 hours of driving on top of however long we hung out...

I'm traveling round trip 4 hrs as well. It'll be worth it. Worst case scenario we'll just sleep in our cars at urthsripe's driveway Smile

Waah! Atlanta is so far! It'd be like a 5 hour flight! I'd have to transfer in, um, Atlanta - oh wait.

Ah yes, the five star hotel that is my driveway. It at least has free wi-fi! I know that's all us nerds really need anyway.
