You'd be surprised how many places don't. Or, if they do, they add in peach flavor or some such thing.

And now you know.

Relatedly (and even more on-topic), I totally volunteer to lead people on a 5-hour 4/5-stop tour of Atlanta area BBQ. (A similar/matching offer is available for a 4 stop southern food tour.) Stomach pumps and insulin shots are your own responsibility. Seatbelt extenders for your return flight are available from your airline.

I will also contribute my help to helping the food tour. Also, what in the sam hell places don't serve sweet tea down here? I have never been denied as far as I can remember.

I took the survey (very sharp and professional looking, good job guys!), and I couldn't help but notice that on the section for suggesting location, there were only East Coast, West Coast, and "somewhere" for US selections. I have to admit, I was a little disappointed to see that the central states and south seemed to have been left out, especially since there have been many posts in this thread asking for a centrally-located ARGFest.

Hope that I was able to help!

It's not something I order, so I don;t remember off hand, but it's been biting my friends more and more over time. Flip is the most recent example.

That's why I supplied a write-in vote for the Middle Coast.

For those who don't keep tabs on twitter or have RSS plugged into the blog: the questionnaire for ARGfest 2010 is up.

Holy crap, that's a big survey. Time to get crackin' and talk nice about my beloved city. Smile

ARGFest.com needs a new look!

A design challenge has been posted. Submissions are due by the end of the month Smile

And, because I've had a couple people ask me about this since the RFP went out - Yes! ARGFest is growing. Yes! it is very exciting. But it's a huge undertaking and we really need your help to make this happen. That's why we have things like the Design Challenge. Once we get the site up, we'll post other opportunities, too - some won't even require design skillz!

And, on that note, if you have any conference planning sorts of experience (and related - someone with PR experience would be a huge help!) and you're willing to get involved for no pay but lots of laughs - let us know!

What is your actual question?
What to do in order to submit a bid for a city to host 2010? Instructions are available by following the link.
What to do at ARGFest? Read the threads from the previous years.
What to do in a particular city? That's going to be awhile before there are submissions.

I don't suppose there's ANY way we can get a week (or few days) long extension on proposals is there? Everything in my life is due on Friday!

I know... I had to send mine in because I have to leave super early this time and don't have any more time to work on it until after I leave for work.
