Aww man, now I feel like a heel. My apologies to everyone, I kind of overreacted and helped escalate a simple misunderstanding into something else and actually did end up taking us off topic.

My apologies to everyone.

I do intend to keep playing the route I've chose unless the PM's ask me to do otherwise, but I'll try and temper the banter. For instance, comments like, "I own alls y'alls" was meant in jest but I can see how it could be misread.

Again, my apologies to everyone for being proud/defensive and not behaving better and to Dusty in particular if I offended him.

On with the game, may the best side win...

Were you around for ILB when one of the players acted against the rest of the playerbase and the protagonists on his own? It wasn't pretty.

Um, I still don't know what to say, I'm not changing my way of playing this to appease anyone. I haven't done anything wrong, if things get ugly it's not because of me. I haven't attacked anyone or done anything wrong, let alone get reprimanded by the PM's, yet I'm causing problems.

Wish someone who has a problem with me could explain that.

EDIT: When dealing with problems I prefer to go to the source. Since some players feel I'm disrupting the game and going against the PM's I decided to ask them rather than worry over what people here thought.

I have e-mailed the PM's OOG and asked them if they could clarify for me whether or not I'm turning over their apple cart. If I am I will stop, if I'm not I wont. I have nothing further to add about this until I hear from them other than to say this is ridiculous.

The game has apparently made provisions for players to assume many disparate roles. Robbie's bringing a little of his game face back here should not be construed as any kind of undermining of the game dynamic.
Think of his earlier commentary like a Chicago Cubs fan saying, "We're gonna clean your clock!"

I think it's really neat and definitely adds a new dimension to the game. Very Happy I'm not quite sure how he did it though.

Nah, you're taking the wrong thing out of what I said, likely because I said it in a way that could easily be construed as threatening. I don't remember the guy who went against the playerbase, but he kinda did it on accident. It became this thing throughout the rest of the game, where the evil character really made him out to be an example, whereas I think one of the good characters died. It was pretty great.

All I'm saying is, even if you don't know what you're doing, it's gonna end up making some pretty good fiction. So, keep that up.

Things that have gone down since the Cubs won a World Series: World War I, World War II, The Automobile, Tupac...

Note my location: St. Louis. Go Cards!

Totally off topic. Anyway. I've found myself somewhat away from a computer for the majority of the last two days and have been frantically catching up in the evenings. Sigh. I know that's part of the fun, buuuuuut, is this the better place to look for updates, or is Ning? or is the wiki? Because really, sifting through 3 pages of frivolous bickering wasn't so productive.

guys, we should better focus at our game tasks then wasting energy battling against each other! Catfight!
with having this plot set up (infiltrating a political party, trying to win over members, having a secret language and special teams) it is clear that the language code will eventually get stolen and people will be switching sides! ever seen polit thrillers? would be kinda sad if this went smoothly and would be over next week, right?
if our secret code gets intercepted, then we can even give them wrong messages to chew on! (-> hehe, Robbie, now you'll never know which message will be bait and which won't). Red Herring
I'm a bit shocked this went so far that a player had to take down his 4th wall and contact the PMs OOG. let's play nice!
and please keep posting information on uF! lots of people have not the opportunity to chat.

My apologies, I blame myself. That being said, the case is closed. The PM's wrote me back and said not only was I ok but that they had setup the game to allow players to choose sides and play however they want.

Seems I'm not being counterproductive after all. Ok, back to the game...

By the way, those of you who PM'd asking about my secret weapon, here it is: The Glorious 3 Wolves Howling at the Moon Tee (Of Amazon fame)!!!!
