I have no counterargument for this, for it's truth is a pure thing.

Alright, I think we can be done with the bickering now, haha.

In it's place, I just want to say... GU T-Shirts! I'm seriously considering purchasing one at my next paycheck... Haha, sorry, guess I'm a sucker for T-Shirts, even if they're not free.

On another subject... I've never played any other Funnel Production games (being relatively new to the scene), but from what I'm hearing, Randy and Earl are characters that pop up in all of their games, right? I can't check out their Twitters right now, but in Transition Village, were they important to the game, or did they just add a bit of hilarity to the scene?

First of all, I'm right with you on the tee shirts. Seeing how I was the only person who wasn't revived in TV1 I'm seriously jonesing for that shirt... Shocked

Second, as far as Randy and Earl go: To quote Ron Burgundy they are, "Kind of a big deal."

Randy and Earl had a role in Funnel's (first?) game Man of the People but I can't speak about it too much because I missed out on that game. While I didn't get a chance to play MotP to my knowledge Earl died during the course of that game. The next game, Transition Village, ended after various missions were completed with players being given the choice of whom they wanted to revive, Earl or Jan Smoulter (also from MoP I believe). Earl was chosen and was subsequently revived from zombiedom.

The next Funnel game, Myth of the Seeker, was about a online radio show that ended up coming to life. Randy and Earl, official sponsors of the show, got dragged into the fictional world and Randy sacrificed himself to save Earl and another character. Many, many tears were spilt that day...

So Transition Village 2 followed and took players back in the ghostly realm. After completing a number of quests players were once again allowed to chose whom to revive, this time Randy or the villain of MotS. Players chose Randy and he likewise returned from the dead and joined the small but loyal group of former zombies, a group I myself am a member of thanks to ifihadahifi... Cool

Now it seems the duo are once again involved as they have made a deal with the Proscript Party to distribute their shower scrub to Purity Towers. Hopefully neither of them end up dying, those life beads are a pain to track down in TV. There might be more history I'm missing, if so someone feel free to add to my summary.

Pretty cool. Sounds like a pretty interesting history. I'll definitely have to keep an eye out for Funnel productions in the future!

And you've definitely answered my question, Robbie. I was mostly wondering if they contributed to the storyline and had an impact on the environment. Obviously, they do, haha. I'm even more excited to see where this games goes...

Only one thing I have to add was that in TV2.
I had brought back to life the needed Evil Dr. Pinwheels.
I had enough life beads to donate and help bring back Randy as well.

I'm trying, although I've hit a bit of a stump. Melissa and I have been chatting it up and I've learned a few things, but I'm not sure if I should post it as I don't want to shoot myself in the foot. Do you guys think we should keep stuff pertinent to each side secret from here on out and only post updates detailing stuff everyone can find and know (like the Sticky Itchers video from last night for instance)? If we really are playing for two different sides I suppose there does have to be some degree of separation. What do you guys and gals think?

New E-mail from Melvin!

Friends,

Many of you have written with valuable intelligence regarding our main suspect, Levi Waltershield. On his blog, http://lwaltershield.blogspot.com/, he states that he will be posting his anti-Party ramblings again soon. Regular attention is paid to this site, as well as his Twitter account: http://twitter.com/LWaltershield. Even his photograph is now in Party possession, thanks to a very helpful member with an impressive family history.

For now, I will keep all of your names anonymous, so feel free to contact me about Mr. Waltershield with no fear of being discovered. Regarding puritytowers.com, we are still working on a fix. Organizations like the Grotian Underground serve only to hinder progress in our world. Many of you have expressed that feeling, and rest assured that we will work around the clock to maintain your comfortable way of life.

Some Party members have requested information about taking up residence in Purity Towers. My understanding is that an application for the few remaining units will be available at proscriptparty.com very soon.

So, with that said, I will leave you again. On Friday, I will finally be able to announce the second part of the Proscript announcements! Obedience to the Party always leads to good things. Never doubt it!

Was just thinking that Randy and Earl provided a great opening for the Recon Team into Purity Towers by emphasizing hand delivery of Sticky Itchers Shower Scrub. Perhaps one or more of you could ask to sell and/or deliver them there. This could also be useful to the Sabo team to get into their secured buildings. Good luck all!

ETA: If anyone on the Comm Team wants to give this a try, too, it could help the communications campaign to have building access. Is anyone interested in taking on that role? Maybe some product boxes could have GU flyers in them. Let's get sneaky!
