You know... I just realized... the countdown was set to midnight Sunday Aug 28 / Monday morning, so like a full day from my time zone.... And I don't think it's Sunday / Monday morning anywhere right now...

Earlier, I set my system clock to when I thought the countdown was going to end and refreshed to see what would happen. The countdown just did negative numbers.... And then... like a little while later the site changed. Is it possible that me changing my system clock then refreshing triggered the site to change in advance of the fake countdown? Is that technically possible, or am I just paranoid?

 		Wow, some interesting new developments already! So this Grotian Underground seems like it might turn out to be the antagonist, though one can never be too sure.

Btw yes, Syncopal, I'm in NY. I didn't know about the countdown being connected to each person's system, that's cool.
