I totally appreciate the sentiment, but it's ok. You were there, you should definitely have them. I was pretty sure they weren't going to be giving people 1/4 scale light cycles or anything when I calculated the cost of 1500+ of something like that.

I was just thinking there'd be an achievement or something involved, maybe some other interesting schwag.

Thanks again, though, that's awesome of you to offer.

Well, since madopal doesn't want one, is the XL you have a mens t-shirt? If so, pm me on here, and I'll give you my shipping address!

We didn't miss them. There were 12 digit codes in each image.

I've been running analysis on them all morning. Wrote a program to do some basic string stuff on them, comparing them to the URL of the light cycle concept sketches and the numbers from the trading cards in the wallets.

Code:

And I've got nothing. I'm going to start checking other code ideas I might know. I've tried using the two strings as .net, .com, and .org URLs (together and apart), as .jpg, .png, .htm, and .html. I've tried using them in both the submission boxes (zerohour and derezz). The fact that there are repeat digits (and some numbers that don't work in hex) makes it unlikely that you can use them to turn over the tiles in zerohour.

I've got nothing. It's possible they were left in there by an accident, but I doubt it.

Still trying to let my unconscious brain come up with things. But that's a major lead that we haven't done anything with yet.

Alright ladies and gentlemen, this is a "Get things back on track" post. We've gotten fairly derailed in the past few pages. Here's what needs to be done.

1. Possible codes in the URLs for the Lightcycle schematics.
2. Barcodes/Baudot/whatever those color bars mean in the schematics.
3. I'm thinking we really need to analyze the forums. There are clues there. We just haven't gotten them yet.

I think we need to come to terms with the fact that nothing of any real substance came out of the trailer screenings. The shirts can probably be safely disregarded, as can the phones from the first event, for the time being.

Let's stop arguing over seniority or whatever was going on back there and get back on track.

Good summary. I would add that we haven't gotten anything from the Encom site, either, and that was revealed with the forums.

I'm going to go over the materials in the wallet again, and scan the other two items I haven't yet and post 'em

Well, i've been doing some messing around/digging with the encom website:

1. on the "people" page, there are 5 people (going with the 5 theory, also a thread on the forums has 5 replies)
2. Dude in the middle of the Encom people website stands out from the rest, timeline on the website says that he took over as CEO for Encom in 1989 ( he also doesn't look like a stock photo like the other 4, nor does he look very happy)

I also checked page sources on a good chunk of the webpages, but nothing of interest.

I dunno, sorry if any of this has been posted before. 80 pages is a lot to go through, and i went over the stuff on wikbruce before coming here Smile

We are rewatching TRON as we wait for folks to arrive. I have Nattaka writing down any codes from the movie and will post them, probably tomorrow. Has anyone looked at the original for clues?

That's Bruce Boxleitner/Alan Bradley/Tron in his best Captain Sheridan "I've had just about enough of you, Mr. Garibaldi" face.
