Just got back from Yosemite and signed up. Hope this game goes well, I still wish they had given out Tron coins like the press got but oh wells...This game could be awesome, especially considering the source material...

My first and last ARG was Metacortechs, which I stopped playing because it wasn't a sanctioned product of the studio. This one is, so I have high hopes for it.

I haven't seen direct links to the mp3 files (the ones that play when you enter the codes) in the thread so far. I wonder if the names mean anything? They're the same as the jpg names:

Isn't it over now? I mean, they've been releasing a trickle of info and then some secret stuff in hidden messages, then they reveal the bike at comic con. Am I missing something here?

STAY AWAY FROM THE TRON WIKI SITE!!!

With any ARG I check my sites regularly for changes.
It seems to be random but twice on the Tron Wiki site ONLY I have had a virus alert page show.
This is a PHANTOM Anti-Virus page. You are asked to confirm and ok to remove the virus.
If you see this pop up. DO NOT DO THIS!!!
This clears what ever doush who created this to add programs to your computer. Because I did not fall for this I do not know what their program adds.
Should you find this get out immediately and run your own system check with your own known anti-virus programs.

I don't know why people want to hurt others like this. It is stupid not smart or cool. If it is to take information, that is stealing and criminal.

p.s. I am doing everything I can to keep this clean here because I would love to go off with profanity.

Is it a character flaw that when someone tells me to stay away from somewhere I immediately have to run on over and check it out? Laughing

But seriously. I really don't know what you're talking about Greystone. I have some very impressive virus checkers and they showed zip. Are you sure your own system isn't infected? I've seen similar problems where spyware was causing a redirect when clicking on links.

hah, so I just got my delivery for Tron today - was delivered while I was in Portland, so had to redirect it to work. Another 2GB usb drive Smile

and it had the 2.gif image, which I believe was reported a while back.

And yep, I saw Susan and Mike at Flynn's as well. Dunno if there's more to come, but I hope so! Big hopes for this movie Smile
