I would like to point everyone to the resources thread that can be found here. This is the most up-to-date list of what sites we have thus far. Please send me any suggestions.

Opened the pictures in photoshop, and using the hexcolor codes, i typed those in at the derez, but sadly, invalid. But just something to think about. Maybe it'll spark somebody's mind.

See above this thread's title, the forum path is there (as a result of it being moved).

For info relative to things like the image analysis, there are now separate threads to help detangle this affair.

Boy it's been a long day... and I justdropped half my donut on the floor. Sad

Ok so yes there's a wiki, but the forum and the wiki really serve different purposes. wiki strengths are organizing and archiving data, and connecting thing together - it's weakness is it need people to help keep it uptodate. Forums are obviously intended for discussion, but connecting things thether is harder and info can get lost over time. They go hand in hand.

Typically we find pinned threads for updated info, like web links and whatnot... Really glad we've got a separate forum Smile As for the wiki, if you think it's not that navigable, by all means pitch in and help edit, or suggest updates to someone who can.

Now, I'm going to sleep on this bus. .....zzz

I decided to try something a little simpler. I'm grabbing a barcode reading software (hope it's decent :/). I've taken one of the lightcycle images and changed it to greyscale. I want to see whether or not I get anything interesting from that. I'll know in hopefully a couple of hours.

Also, new thought on Encom international website. They list certain specific offices. Why? I tried clicking on the points in the order of mention (Middle East, sub-sahara, etc) but some of them have a few things they can be (there are several in south america). Is it at all possible that maybe you need to click on them, perhaps in a particular order? I mean, it doesn't click or anything but I think I've seen that before. What do you folks think?

Edit- getting data now. Will post it in the appropriate topic thread, then repost here when done.

feasible. good luck with the bar code scanning.
There have been games in the past with hidden clicking stuffs (what would you call it?)...
maybe reverse the order?

From scanning one of the images, and picking it apart, I've gotten the following info:
Type 'EAN8' and value '66175209'

Type 'EAN8' and value '88871172'

Type 'EAN8' and value '66560340'

I'll be zooming a bit and playing around, see what else I get. I've already tried all three in derez and got nothing. I have not attempted to use it on the slip-card page (i.e. 66, 17, 52, 09)

Later, I also got the following from pieces:

Type 'I2of5' and value '65'

Type 'EAN8' and value '14021176'
Type 'I2of5' and value '88'

Hope this is useful. I'm tempted to use a second piece of software I just got to se if I get any different results. That kind of exhaustive analysis, however, will probably not be tonight.

I'm reading through the posts on the Flynn Lives facebook profile, and this stuck out:

I think we've got a missing clue in front of us here.

I'm stalled. I can't think of anything else...

I'm beginning to think that the codes in the images was just a red herring, and /derez isn't going to be relevant at this moment.

I think 42E is laughing at us chasing our tails (again).

Going through and flipping over sequences and got sick of the find the numebr game so I took the liberty of creating an excel file with all the numbers in the right spots, so now it is searchable. Should make all our lives easier.

Edit- well apparently excel isn't allowed to attach here (fair enough), so I've uploaded it to megaupload. The URL is http://www.megaupload.com/?d=XEL79BKH

Uh...as a guess the 25 cities all had drops? Also, there were (count coutn count count) 34 cities on Encom's website so that isn't it.

Tried '66175209' '66560340' '65' and '14021176' and numbers in dreex as well as pairs in the card game. Nothing.

Also tried flipping over all: 66 17 52 09 (tried both 6's) 56 03 40 65 14 02 and 11. Tried with and without the 65 as well. Nothing.

Not all of the cities for the scavenger hunt are on the offices site.

I'll take your work for it. I'm a chemist- geography was never my strong point.
