Finished Tron 2.0. The only stuff that I think is applicable to the story line is.

1. Tron Legacy refers to an update to the original Tron program. It was designed to terminate rogue users in the system (ie Hackers). It was never used as it would terminate all users, couldn't differentiate good from bad.

2. Alan had a kid, Jet, short for Jethro. Flynn is Jets godfather.

3. Alan's wife died in a digitizing lab accident. It's rumored that he was able to save part of her and integrated her into Ma3a. A math program.

In addition, the overall story arch was that the company Fcom bought out Emcon and was going to use the digitizing technology to digitize an army of hackers to take over all the computers and thus the world.

I don't know if this will help with anything but I've heard that Tron Legacy is going to take place after the game and that the events in the game are still part of the universe.

hope you folks don't mind me jumping in on this one, been following you from the start, TRON was one of my favourite movies growing up. I've been following a few new ARG's here for while to learn and am involved in ZombieTruth, i'm starting to get a good grip on how these work although still very much an apprentice when it comes to the ciphers et. (any pointers greatly appreciated Smile

) so i hope i can help in some way when this gets off the ground, and learn from what looks like a great community..

I'm so ready for some more 42 E Goodness! Followed TDK arg and had loads of fun, hope this is just as great!
Also, TRON is such a great IP for and ARG, what with the whole taking place both in the real world and in the computer. This is going to be GREAT!!!

Erm, is it just me, or has the color scheme changed back to what it was originally going to be in TRON, i.e. Yellow good, blue bad, considering Flynn is yellow?

Yes, that's how it came out in the movie, but if I remember, I heard that the reason the MCP's programs used blue light cycles and the good programs used the yellow light cycles was because that was going to be the color scheme in the beginning.
