why would it make a point of that if there were not different groupings?


We aren't saying there wouldn't (theoretically) be other groupings, just that we will all be in group 7 like Kevin and Alan were. It's a nod to the first film.


are you sure it was "group 7" or "level 7"?

No, it was on the lower end actually, with Group 1 being the highest, at least I would imagine. Lora had to use her Group 6 access to get Kevin into Encom and onto her terminal to access the MCP.

 		Yes, it comes with an Encom lanyard. You can see the clip at the top of the image.

Actually, I believe the reverse is true. Kevin said that group 7 was locked out and that he could hack in to get them all group 6 access which would give the needed access to tron. It makes sense that it's easier to hack a group 6 if it's a lower priority in security.
