Well no package for me, and haven't heard of any others... maybe 42 had a random drawing of people they had addresses for Very Happy

Five dollars says it's a trailer of some sort.

I have to say it's probably for a trailer... but that seems to be a bit of effort just to count down to a new trailer. I'm hoping it's the start of something more myself. Either way, I signed up.

Interestingly enough, I opened my mailbox and there was a tiny box with Flynn Lives on it Very Happy. If this turns into an ARG, I will be psyched!

EDIT: When I opened my box, it turns out that I received a Bit without an answer, a blue one. Photos to come later. No new website address

Remember that 42 had the "42 wants your information" signup thing a while (which I believe is still active?) They could easily be using contact info from that list as well.

Also a reminder, there is a Tron wiki set up and prepared for whatever argish thing comes our way, so if you're so inclined, please feel free to help keep it updated Smile

Rock On

Also, hoping for a mail day =) Yesterday was a holiday in Ontario, so no mail. Waiting for geocaching stuff, Bioshock 2, and no maybe hopefully perhaps a Bit!

Just received my bit in the mail! I got the blue one. (Photos here)

Mine arrived via USPS, not FedEx. So for those of those waiting/hoping, there may be a delay in delivery due to the U.S. post office being closed on Monday for the holiday.

No Bit here yet. The blue Bit was the 'neutral state' bit. I see nobody has gotten the yellow diamond shaped Bit yet, which was the Yes bit. (Yes, I remember the original film that well, and don't yet have it on DVD myself.) I'm thinking that maybe the Yes bit will be the 'golden ticket', unless we start seeing a full assortment of bits showing up everywhere.

Nothing yet, either. I'm pretty sure they're sending out multiple Bits all over the place, one to each person who signed up for updates!

With the changes at 42, maybe there's hope that it won't be just the usual suspects.

Got my Bit today. It's the Small triambic icosahedron or 'in rest' one. Also got a few shreds, confirming the 42 Ent. involvement. Some of the points have black dots on them.

Bizarrely, of all people, I got a box in the mail from these guys today! I had nearly forgotten about signing up with them. Feels like forever ago.

Anyway I got the blue tetrahedron thing. If anybody wants pictures of the thing or the box, I've taken some. Not entirely informative, sure, given they've come from my cameraphone, but might be helpful for people who haven't gotten one, anyway.

http://i46.tinypic.com/24nk13o.jpg <-- the box. They sent it USPS Priority mail, which is kind of crazy given the small size and light weight of the box. The mailman actually said to me "Somebody really wants you to get this!" I guess SO, Mr. Mailman.

http://i50.tinypic.com/ixcy01.jpg <-- the inside of the box. "/zerohour" is scrawled on the inside of the lid (in better handwriting than mine, mind you) in pen. The little blue tetrahedron thing is nestled in its lovely little nest quite comfortably. There doesn't look to be anything written on the paper shreds at all, or the rest of the inside of the box.

http://i46.tinypic.com/2v00ufa.jpg <-- Still Life With Blue Tetrahedron And My Little Pony. (Sorry about that, I'm a collector. lol) Sorry my camera is so crappy. You can't tell but the detail of the thing is really quite nice, it's got little grooves all over it going in different directions under the paint. I can't quite tell what it's made of but tapping it with a fingernail makes a noise something like a christmas ornament, so I'd say some sort of nice quality hollow plastic. Each of the points has a small black mark on it, as if someone had used the pen to count them all. Hmm...

Hope that helps, guys!

Confirmed yellow "Yes" bit over at Movieviral.com
http://movieviral.com/forum/showpost.php?p=61677&postcount=5

That confirms the full Bit-tallion is in play.

I'm not quite sure if the paper shavings have any meaning at all or not. One of the shavings I got turned out to be a trademark sticker. As I was looking at the paper, they didn't seem to line up with any of the other ones I had. So they either mean nothing and 42 is finding a creative way of recycling paper or they need to be matched up with other bit finders. Doubt that, but I still kept the paper and box Very Happy
