I'm noticing that as the game goes on, the aiming appears to be worse. I couldn't get past sector six. Why? There was one of those fire-hydrant things. I kept shooting at it from different distances- and watched as the "bullets" went right through the damn thing. I also have other instances of fighting tanks where the bullets will go through one tank to destroy the tank behind it.

It's fun when it works, but I'm a tad annoyed at the glitchiness. Am I the only one experiencing this?

I should say, I do recall that the bullets arc in the movie (or at least they seemed to- that might have been visual effect) but that still doesn't explain when you shoot something point blank and you see it travel through the object.

All top scores at FLN. Top score is 990,000

I suppose we all suspect something happens if/when we beat that score.

Anyone get 100% accuracy yet? I kept getting 94% because my browser keeps lagging on me- my institution's internet is not the most desirable.

I doubt we'll beat that score...it's Flynn's world record he set in Tron.

Although, I'm listening to the movie audio now, and the guy in the background says "999 thousand points!" when he beats the record, so, whoops. Smile

Hunh. Did you get 100% accuracy at any point?

They wouldn't require a flawless game...right?

So what did the portal do?

I beat it, but I died a few times along the way. Here's what it shows:

Guess it's going to take a flawless game? No deaths? I wonder if there's any hidden meaning behind Flynn's scores?

Well, I finished the game.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Maybe because I didn't get a perfect game, but I didn't get anything... Just a message about it being for Jordan...

Hm. High score is now no longer 990,000 but is now 999,000. Curiouser and curiouser

So has anyone tried 2-player yet to see if there are any differences?
