Well, they obviously had a huge budget for this, at least in the beginning. Could be that all the clues were solved way too early, and what they expected to be a 2 month investment turned into a one week affair. This could be some backwards way of getting their money's worth.

I really don't even know what to say about that. That's absolutely ridiculous. The way those people behave toward their own player-base is so immature and rude, I can't see what they could possibly be trying to sell, here.
