I am just getting redirected to the THENFRIEND video, and deleting my flash cookies doesn't seem to make a difference.

I can't believe Google would allow their brand to be used in conjunction with this mess of an ARG.

Also, if you dug deep enough, every other ARG had breadcumbs that led to a big entertainment giant (as the ARG is thier intellectual property) - this one doesn't.

They also seem to break the terms and conditions of sites like Youtube, and get things pulled.

None of this fits a pattern of a regular ARG. wft is going on?

It's either:
A) Incompetence
B) Immersion
Take your pick. Im going for immersion/ meant to happen, as some of the problems (the take downs, etc) seem like they intentionally disbeye rules and ToS. I want to think its meant to show that the junsui are reactionary, instinctual, and dont understand the world (as judged by their way of speaking and their irrational and child-like demeanor). All of the 'problems' thus far have been on the Junsui side, not the Alfa-Tsentr/MoT end of things. [/meta]

Hi Im new to arg and hooked already so bear with me

I cant access the url link for the stream of Rei anymore. So I've been working on gaining access to the A-T sight. i noticed text in an error message from the "broadcast this message" link.

"select u.name#drop"
"the enemy is the head of all9corps" as well as a name
"Igrar" (last name undiscerned)
"search for them by a name"
I cant differentiate the last name from the jargon. however I have a feeling this is the username for access to the A-T sight. and will likely need to be entered in russian. any suggestions on the last name and help on figuring the password needed

I think Igrar traqnslates to Играр. I did a russian google search for Igrar, and that Играр term was highlighted everywhere

 		apparently there was an Azerbaijani named Igrar Aliyev who did some scholarly work on Caucasia, but it think this might just be a coincidence

With tall the recent changes though, Id like to see if anyone has checked for changes in the swf files to see if either alfa tsentr or NSE will validate logins now

The geolocator is obviosuly used for the warning screen, but might be worth checking that 28mb dat file for breadcrumbs

First path is simply the secondary Flash file loaded by the A-T login page.

The second path is the IP2Location package used for the login error message.
Database is provided by MaxMind - http://www.maxmind.com/app/geolitecity
It's freely distributed under a GPL... Does that mean we can ask for the source code now? Smile

 		Its weird to see how much exposure this is getting. I just found myself quoted from this forum on a Spanish language forum. Weird feeling.

Interestingly someone there sent a mail to Maven and got the exact response that someone here got, indicating that maybe it was something scripted. I don't think Maven is IG or anything I just found it interesting.

Someone also brought up something that had been in the back of my mind. Seems to me like Won You might be a pseudonym meant to mock people who found that site. Sarcastically like "congratulations! you found another meta site! you win!."
