Ok so, 2 keys and one lock.

We can think of a lock as something that protects something valuable.

This is obviously the music cipher.

As far as the keys, they obviously open something. Like a login/password.
What codes do we possibly have:
Coordinates
R F NOC:1

any other ideas?

Think its possible the locks could be the two password protected "DEFILERS" websites. the japanese NSE and the Russian A-T. and the keys are as you stated the login/passwords?

locks are puzzles Smile

[edit - removed spoiler tag cause this is not a puzzle solve, it more like your guess/opinon (pretty good one). if there is nothing to indicate what is under the spoiler, then everyone will look so there is no point to use spoiler tag - kona]

I would at least look into the "finger gene" bit. It's worth checking given that there's already one gene referenced.

Has there been any word of Dubrovin or the MoT, A-T? Anyone get anything from them? It seems kinda quiet on that side of the story. Do you think there's a reason?

No. Go check the MoT page on fb and read what Dubrinov posted. Bad news indeed.

No FB access at work...

would you mind posting whatever's up?

It would be good to have it here in the trailhead or at least the MoT thread for archiving reasons.

Funny, as I ask that... I just got this from him...

Mr. XXXX,

Thank you for the update and clarification. Now that we have the two text strings my question is, where do they fit? It is truly puzzling and I hope that we will find an answer soon.

I must stress that stopping the terrorists has never been more imperative. At the risk of saying too much, we are in a dangerously time sensitive period and success is our only option.

A. Dubrovin

what to do now chaps?

Gentlemen. It has come under under attention by my superiors that the Chilean's had broken the code first and not the MoT. That slight advantage has disappointed them greatly. There are two text strings but we do not yet know what must be done with them.

I must stress that now is the time to stop these terrorists. We must prevail.

A. Dubrovin

Two text strings:
REvOlUTiOn, ExPECTinG.
REOUTO EPECTG
vin xin

or perhaps
REvOlUTiOn, ExPECTinG is one string and
R F NOC:1 is another

hmmm

i'm just going to brainstorm and think outloud so if I babble don't mind me.

revolution expecting. there's been lots of talk of spanish and whatnot, conjugtaed in English it would be expecting revolution.

is it coincidence that Junsui is paying special attention to Chile?

revolution... Revolution of the planet? eclipses? we're not expecting an eclipse of sorts, are we? We just had one that was visible near China.

Sacrifices to be made...

Latin America.

Aztecs? Mayans? They made sacrifices, especially when eclipses were involved.

food for thought.

Gerard, I believe that by "lock" the Junsui mean a system of protecting information or messages.
We already have one for decoding their auditory transmissions, my logical conclusion is that the other lock must be a cipher of a visual nature.

Rhea, daughter of Uranus and Gaia, sister and wife of Kronos, mother of zeus and the Olympians, known as "the mother of gods" revolted against her parents, Uranus and Gaia. And ruled with her brother as gods later she also rebelled against Kronus too. Revolution seems something she would be prone too.

also on a side note there is a large bird in south america known as the Rhea Bird. standing 1.7m tall and weighing up too 88 lbs. Ironic that the junsui refer to Rhea as "little bird"

totally off the wall I know. Im just becoming frustrated at this point

Correct me if I'm wrong but that sounds like a STRONG hint at a login/password to a Jinsui website.
