OK, people, I'm back to the action and what I see here: great flash contents, perfect Japanese and Russian spoken textes - it's just wow.

If you have some questions to Russian or Japanese contents, I'd be glad to help. And I'm now really onboard - I knew, it will rock Smile

I'm at the moment overwhelmed by the contents - working it through.

Is the error at http://junsui.shineisei.jp/ actually old? I've visited the site for 2 hours, it was OK and worked pretty good for me (I love this flash design!).

Not there's an error:
http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_o74fhvPkEXw/SocekoU4lYI/AAAAAAAABWY/e9zsaNC0Hq0/s1600-h/junko-shineisei-failure.jpg

And I can read the distorted message:
Quote:
the enemy is the head of all corps search for them by a-name

I saw that error days ago. I think it shows you the non-errored site the first time you visit, and the error on subsequent visits.

Thank you, Asphodel.

And I suppose, it's a hint how to log in to Alfa Tsentr.
I just don't get it right now...

@Zozma,

You're right, in this case just trout me (as it's usually in Unfiction) Smile
I'm still overwhelmed by the tons of contents.
One think I can say:

ШК is short for "school".
Реи Нумиторова is a name, Rei Numitorova. Rei sounds very Evangelion Genesis alike Wink And with Numitorova I've to think about King Numitor.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Numitor

It looks like Alfa-Tsentr (aka Khozains) is keeping the Sisters in this "School" and making experiments (like we saw at the video of the little sister).

Russian part of http://www.flyfishsystems.com seems to be very poor translated Russian, which is very contrasted with Alfa-Tsentr webpages and Russian messages by Junko and Seteney.

UPDATE. Numitor seems to be correct:

Quote:
In Roman mythology, King Numitor of Alba Longa, son of Procas, was the father of Rhea Silvia.

And:

Quote:
Rhea Silvia (also written as Rea Silvia), and also known as Ilia, was the mythical mother of the twins Romulus and Remus, who founded the city of Rome

Here is the name "Rhea" which I have already read a few time. But I am still wondering how other people did find this name:

e.g. from Junko's facebook:
Evan Townsend: Kde je Rhea?

which means "Where is Rhea?"

Did I overlook any reference that says that the captured gitlis Rhea (besides the King Numitor connection)?

Logging into the webcam (through the 'google') at 07.30am is showing a girl (rhea?) bound and gagged... logging in again she manages to get up and wonder off...

***META FOLLOWS***

For the record, I don't know if I mentioned it before but it seems like their videos are being hosted through Akamai's streaming services.

That, boys and girls, ain't cheap.

This is an enigma indeed: highest level of quality, brilliant Flash design work, professional video... But for what?

If this is viral marketing for a product, wouldn't it make sense to know what the product is? And if it's not for a product, someone's throwing some serious money at this little adventure.

Not to mention they're doing some rather unorthodox things. It's like someone threw a wad of money at these people and said "make a game", but they've never actually done it before. They're experienced content creators and designers, but are doing things that just aren't done in most ARGs.

I think this has got to be for a forthcoming feature film. Think something along the lines of The Cube or Saw. This ARG is creating hype and establishing a plot or sub-plot from where the movie can take off...

More meta, this time from me. I'm kind of lurking now and I did a little detective work; and I can confirm what Nighthawk says, this is kind of an enigma.

Based on the WHOISes, I can tell that the group is hosting using Dreamhost; a fine host, but not usually used by professional games. Professional games with an advertising budget usually have a nice dedicated server farm to back them. Indie games are more likely to be hosted on places like dreamhost; shared hosting or virtual private servers. This seems to either be a commercial game with a ton of attention to detail. Hosted on apache2-goo.castellano.dreamhost.com.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
If anyone is hosted on the same server on DreamHost, they can enable shell access and look at all of the game's files. But that's not a good idea. That's cheating to the highest degree.

So, it seems we've got a little game changer, dropped to me over Skype by one Alexander Dubrovin.

Executive summary: Junko is just an actor in an ad, a "spokepersonality" Dubrovin put it. It appears that Junko is a "paid actor or model" and a separatist group has stolen her identity for their own.

Executive executive summary: ENIGMAS!

Relevant excerpts:
Quote:

[8/16/09 1:12:50 AM] Alexander Dubrovin: I am concerned that you know who you are dealing with these people who claim to be liberators.
[8/16/09 1:13:01 AM] Alexander Dubrovin: These people are not who they claim to be.
[8/16/09 1:13:06 AM] redcti: Oh, I definitely know them.
[8/16/09 1:13:25 AM] Alexander Dubrovin: Please do not let your prejudice against my country and culture blind your judegment.
[8/16/09 1:13:48 AM] Alexander Dubrovin: These are dangerous terrorists like Taliban

Junsko Junsui is not who she says she is.
[8/16/09 1:15:54 AM] redcti: Who is she, then? She seems quite... shady.
[8/16/09 1:15:55 AM] Alexander Dubrovin: This is an actress in a commercial.
[8/16/09 1:15:58 AM] Alexander Dubrovin: Nothing more.
[8/16/09 1:16:03 AM] redcti: Commercial for what, then?
[8/16/09 1:16:35 AM] Alexander Dubrovin: It is a delusional person that we are tracking, we believe of Georgian or other separatist movement in Chechen Republic.

Quote:

So, are you basically saying that this Shineisei group; the one that appears to have a relation to this Junsui; actor, you say; is just a red herring?
[8/16/09 1:21:04 AM] redcti: "Just an actor", as you say?
[8/16/09 1:21:16 AM] Alexander Dubrovin: This Junko is a
[8/16/09 1:21:20 AM] Alexander Dubrovin: how do you say?
[8/16/09 1:21:34 AM] Alexander Dubrovin: spokespersonality

Quote:

[8/16/09 1:21:59 AM] redcti: What is their relation to sepratist movements? I am slightly confused.
[8/16/09 1:22:07 AM] Alexander Dubrovin: It is obviously a paid actor or model and this group has stolen the identoty.
[8/16/09 1:22:11 AM] redcti: Ah.

[8/16/09 1:18:25 AM] Alexander Dubrovin: Yes.
[8/16/09 1:18:40 AM] Alexander Dubrovin: But we do not have interest in him specifically.
