[TRAILHEAD] Institute for Future Medicine
Hooked via Twitter

Hello everyone.
I got followed by http://twitter.com/nogainswoutpain (Matthew) today. His twitter messages point to a blog entitled "No Pain, No Gain".

From there, you can reach the site of The Institute For Future Medicine. Looks to me like a trailhead (to the point that I'm skipping the "trailhead or spam?" thread).

Sadly, I'm leaving the country in the next 48 hours and will be out of touch for a month, so I won't be able to follow this story. I hope you guys enjoy it.

~O
PS: If this belongs to another thread, feel free to move the post - I searched for Institute, Future, Medicine and found only one unrelated match. Apologies in advance if my search-fu failed.

/EDIT: Adjusted the subject, took out ? since there's no question any more if this is an ARG or not. Wink -ndemeter

The Temporary Site's Blog Post have the letters A,R, and G Italicized. In that order. Twice. Not a dead giveaway or anything.

"Naip" reverse of "Pain";
"Dolor": painful grief (poetic), sorrow, grief, misery or anguish ("Pain", in Italian is translated as "Dolore", and iirc the Spanish is "Dolor")

I love to point out the obvious.

Also, have started an IRC channel - #Institute Come chat!!

And for posterity, here are a list of resources so far:

http://twitter.com/nogainswoutpain - Matthew, possibly a disgruntled employee trying to bring the Institute down? (also the trailhead for this whole thing)

http://instituteforfuturemedicine.net/ - Home of The Institute, who are apparently creating a vaccine that will remove pain sensations completely

http://nogainswithoutpain.wordpress.com/ - Matthew's blog, linked to from Twitter.

For the record, I and the "usual suspects" around here were chosen to be followed by the Twitter account.

I found it amusing that every single one of the people he's following I'm following too. Very Happy
