I don't know what the last one means, but maybe that's just me being dense...

From the looks of it he may be trying to lead us to a dead drop.

Alas, I'm in Tulsa, not Houston.

I just called and it went to vmail. I left a mssg how we haven't heard from them in a week now and, if they're ok, to please get a mssg to us somehow.
There must be something we're overlooking. Sotpyrk doesn't post pics without some purpose to them.

I agree. With the pictures of the park the other day, I'm surprised it hasn't been suggested before now.

Oh god.

Quote:
"Wrapping a present for a dear friend. Can't say I enjoy this place but at least I'll enjoy this mission."

"I flew down here to give something to Mr. Davis. I guess he's not interested."

Now the new Picture.

With the Letters "I" "E" and "D".

"Improvised" "Explosive" "Device"

Is it possible Sotpyrk is planning a bombing? IED is a commonly used phrase in Military for roadside bombs...

Maybe I'm being paranoid, but wrapping a present, delivering something to Mr. Davis, IED... It all seems to fit.

I thought the letters looked like D, E and !, not I.....but I could just be seeing it wrong. It makes more sense for it to be an I.....

DEI seems more likely to me, which is latin for god I believe. I would hazard that he considers what he is doing as an Opus Dei a work of god. His "package" for JD is probably what he is referring too, and that might very well be the dead drop. It looks to be under an over pass or something near drainage ditches. I don't think he put the letters there, just a coincidence and he's remarking on how ... apropos it is. I could be very wrong but I think that is what he is doing. Looks like someone may need to do a field trip.

See, that's why you get paid the big bucks.

Now, all we need is a volunteer from Houston. Any takers?

If you write IED (or DEI) upside down it looks like !ED (or DE!). Why would he do that? Because his name is "upside-down" Kryptos. Or just because it is harder to spot.
If you think about this, IED might be more likely, especially since "deus" is "god", not "dei". Although "dei" is "of god", which might just fit.

Plus if you unscramble the letters, I guess, it could spell die. Just a possibility but DEI and IED make more sense.

Mr. Davis is AWOL at the moment, hasn't answered phone calls for almost a week.

No contact from Abby either.

Looking at the columns with the sand, water and debris.

Who else reckons Sotpyrk is under a bridge type structure on a river?
