Alright, so the whole thing is a little hard to transcribe - and i can't promise that all the tinkering done with the speed of the sound didn't somehow morph the pitches. However - this is what I got:

F G F F G C F G F E

Now, these are the pitches assuming the piece is in the key of F.

If the piece was in the key of C, however, we'd get:

C D C C D G C D C Bb

So...I'm really thinking this is going nowhere but at least I helped covered one of our bases. *sigh*

I also don't recognize the piece at all, 10 pitches isn't much to go on.

Stupid idea:

"Deluge" featured a flashing fluorescent light. Fluorescent lights actually flash extremely rapidly, giving the illusion of constant lighting instead of emitting a continuous stream of light. In "Regards" the boxes of slashes flash kinda quickly, yeah. But maybe TTA's message in "Operator" and the implicit meaning in "Deluge" (which I may be imagining) serve to imply that that flashing should be looked at closely?

Anyone tried slowing it down? Seeing if the slash-boxes are� how shall I say? "Micro-flashing?"

Not to necro an old thread, but I have a huge favor to ask!

Does anybody still have a file of the Regards audio, sans most of the static? I am not very good with sound (the best that I can manage is to change the speed and pitch!) or else I'd work on that, myself!

Alright, first thing is first, here is the Audio clip.

Now, listening to it without any edits, I have come to the conclusion that it's probably distorted backwards. I feel this because the sound goes from loud to instantly softer to a crescendo. This is a very common thing in reversed audio clips.

All those days of back masking have paid off.

Also, someone in a different thread "solved" the puzzle. This person said it was morse code for Jay. FWIW
