I think you guys are looking for things that aren't there with the "Eric" thing. Sounds like an animal to me, not a human whisper.

While I was setting up the wiki, a friend of mine was working on uncovering hidden audio and distorted sounds in Operator. I don't know if she got much further than the last time I talked to her about it, but the thing we were hearing at the end which sounds like "Eric" she managed to find, but without all the distortion it sounded more like "run".

Just thought I'd throw that out there, since "run" makes more sense in the instance than "Eric".

The jafool stuff and the marble hornets stuff are most definitely NOT related. They are simply both about the Slender Man. That said, however, one could very easily play off the other, so don't rule out the possibility that one game will lead to a discovery in the other. That said, I don't think such is the case here.

Directly there's no real link between the two, other than the basis of both stories. (ie. friend is disturbed by something and records it then disappears/dies)

I can see with the stuff going on at SA forums why people are being extra cautious, but with the way they both seem to be heading I wouldn't be surprised at all if they did merge.

On one hand, you could argue that it's IG and the CHARACTER doesn't believe anything Slender Man while the PM does...

but I still don't believe that they are the same person, because it was stated earlier that the Slender Hunter and Marble Hornets PMs are not affiliated, and Just Another Fool is obviously another shot by the Slender Hunter PM...

that said, I don't know that they're not going to reference each other.

This is true; though it could be argued that if Slender Hunter was just trying to pick up attention by copying Marble Hornet that he'd probably admit it and try to tie himself into it.

All that said and done, Marble Hornet seems to be back we could ask him.
