Fury of Solace
Dr Horrible 'Evil League of Evil' Submission Gone Transmedia, Comic-Con

As described in the ARGNet article, Fury of Solace is a pseudo-Doctor Horrible spinoff about a man who became a supervillain in order to "create" a superhero capable of saving millions. The webseries is just about as transmedia as they come, and releases "chapters" through a number of forms: so far, they've hit blogs, videos, a graphic novel, and an alternate reality game playing out mostly over twitter.

The Fury of Solace blog has mentioned that evil CEO Max Mason will be recruiting super powered bodyguards at Comic-Con, and has implied there will be something for fans to do at the convention. So for those of you doing the ARGFest / Comic-Con double header, this might be worth checking out.

Update on the Comic-Con happenings (first two links to videos, the rest are to tweets):

So, Max Mason, CEO of Max Mason International went to Comic-Con to recruit a super-powered bodyguard after his encounter with Fury of Solace in Episode 1.5 -- a fan witnessed the recruitment.

The Orphan, sadly, couldn't get in without a badge.

Someone left a message for Max Mason at his hotel at the Omni across the street from the convention center. SamProof (who appears to be the same person from the first video) picked up the message and got it to FuryofSolace at the convention. This led Fury of Solace to Lou & Mickey's.
